  1. Yeah, could easily have been us here. I walked past the French embassy today & it was good to see the signs of unity over this.
  2. Sorry to hear of your predicament but I've been wondering the same, single or crew cab for the same reasons you give (storage/weight/length). Been looking at Iveco Daily tippers lately which seem to be less money for comparable trucks. Maybe have to budget for new springs etc if its already 'arb'd'.
  3. Even emptier at Brighton. Btw that wasn't meant to sound flippant but...what were they doing there?
  4. Hearing about conditions in Scotland, power down etc. Stay safe all our northern buddies.
  5. Kent Machine Service at West Malling 01732 844508.
  6. Can't help as I'm not a climber but I spoke to someone doing a chimney survey on a 3 storey house, using a tiny camera upon a v lightweight telescopic pole. Just a thought.
  7. Soon as the blisters :blushing:go I'll try again.
  8. For 'fun' used an axe on a 13" dia windblown oak. Never having done this before & being unable to borrow something suitable I got a 70cm/1.2kg Stihl pruning axe. Half an hour & much sweat later it was down, altho' it did go the opposite way:blushing:but no harm done as it was in woodland I manage. Should've cut much higher, chest height but it was a good workout & next time maybe something heavier, to bite deeper. Anyone else daft enough?
  9. Hmmm...gonna show my ignorance now:blushing:. I thought jonsered was another word for knackered lol. Good find & an interesting thread.
  10. Yeah, tells if you're dancing properly.
  11. Inflatable doll in passenger seat?
  12. GWS...otherwise it sounds like my ideal Christmas.
  13. As it was I who first asked for a pic...just want to say that I completely get John's wish for security & there were similar pics on youtube. Anyway back on thread & it looks a cracking use of sawdust.
  14. The old guys get it right again.
  15. Anyone got a pic of a jockey wheel attached to one of these?
  16. Our place is listed & I can't say re the ivy but within reason, any maintenance is ok without 'permission'. You'd hope that removal of ivy could only be a good thing for the buildings integrity in order to extend its life.
  17. I sometimes carry ours in an IW ramped trailer & loading its ok alone if level but it can run away when getting it off so I just use a rope to control it. No idea about GM's purpose made trailer but I guess thats a 2 man job.
  18. Sorry didn't mean to be flippant over a serious question. Maybe you'll get a reply from someone better experienced than I.
  19. I find a basque & suspenders does me.
  20. I used to like road running after giving up rugby but she complained she could hear my knees creaking up the stairs so started on the codliver oil about 30 yrs back & started cycling. Theres been no aching back or noisy knees since, so put it own to this combination. Good advice I reckon to have an expert pinpoint the cause.
  21. Some good points there so thanks for taking time to reply guys.
  22. Pretty good to me. Being new to this game all this sort of stuff is excellent.
  23. 20" inside wheels & 29" outer measurement. I adapted a motorbike trailer I had.
