  1. Second stall I saw a Stanley brace for £2. Result...if its not too hard/slow. We don't do a lot so maybe it'll be ok. My old Makita with 1.2ah battery has been next to useless as the charge lasts for 10 holes max.
  2. She gained a few pounds after stopping smoking is all.
  3. Making myself go to the rubbish exchange today as I'm looking for a bit brace. Anyone else use one to drill for eco pellets, or is it too much hard work? Getting ticked off having to remember & charge a cordless.
  4. Was thinking exactly that when I saw our Quadchip had a sprung loaded pin. It promptly got cable tied in the locked out position.
  5. 10 Weetabix & fresh coffee works for me.

    Radon .

Years ago my folks had this & fitted a small air pump which slightly raised the pressure (in winter at least when the windows were shut) forcing any build up out thru high level vents.
  7. Just got my first Cut & Climb so hoping for rain.
  8. Yeah I like Mike's... wish I'd found that first.
  9. Never thought of it as anything but a bit of fun so certainly wouldn't feel 'betrayed'....thought we all felt that way.
  10. Thats it...79p per ltr. For however many you buy I guess. Does it get cheaper then if you buy more at the pump?
  11. You've all got some nice trucks there. I started by greasing all the nipples then found myself spending the rest of today going over our 05 transit with a mix of diesel/engine oil (anyone ex-army will know). Must now have the cleanest chassis/suspension for an old, slightly rusty, work horse. Certainly beat the alternative....a day at Bluewater with the missus.
  12. Watching the thread with interest having bought a new 362 a year ago & been run on normal fuel without hiccup, so just ordered another....hmmmm.
  13. Just found an old (2011) thread asking my question, so please ignore unless things have changed since.
  14. As above really. We've used one for the last year with a 20" bar & found it ok but need another of similar power/bar length. Anyone have an opinion as we've nothing else to compare it with.
  15. I had an N reg, 2 lt petrol with 160k miles...old enough? I put GG at2 tyres on & it just wouldn't bog down. Bit juicy to run although I expected that but no towing capacity, so swapped it for a TD5.
  16. Ok, we swapped the DMF for solid, complete new clutch & fresh gearbox oil for £575. Guaranteed for 12 months/10k miles. Used it today for heavy towing & noticed no difference from the DM. Had to put bloody air fresheners in before to mask the burning plate.
  17. Couple of large eucalyptus/poplars at Bearsted Green. Already cut into 2/3' lengths & between 8"-16' dia ready for collection if anyone wants firewood before we finish work tomorrow.
  18. Interesting. I used Medway Sling for a (free) test to destruction of a 'tie down' strap for another application but never thought about climbing gear. Are they Loler qualified too?
  19. Not too close to Faversham but ours is at Yalding if you want more details.
  20. Yeah but what would they look like in the rain?
  21. Rabbit shooting, cycling, still have water skis but sadly no longer have the boat.
