  1. Ah yes. Sorry spud I was asking you it's a jonsered 2083 same mount as a husky 372. Are you busy?I'll try and get it posted this week.
  2. It's not broken yet but if it does I don't think I'll be needing a new one!
  3. The visor looks a little cumbersome, think I'll stick to my pretzel
  4. Can I still get my zig zags mk1 replaced? A mate gave it to me so I have no receipt
  5. My favourite is my husky 372xp Its had a real hard life done loads of work been dropped from a telehandler bucket, thrown onto a concrete path in anger and I just replaced the broken bits and it's away cutting again good as the first day I had it.
  6. This might be a stupid question, but when I send you a saw in to repair do I need to put the bar and chain in as well. It's all packed up but I forgot to pack the bar and chain in with it as I've been using it on another saw. Thanks will
  7. If you buy it from the machine just use a small cup and press the button for a large coffee it always fits. Not that I do that mind
  8. Yes it'll be the pollen. Some people get hay fever from grass pollen some from tree pollen. Antibiotics won't help he will need Benadryl or the like, even cheaper than pollarding the tree every year
  9. That Landy would look real smart tidied up and re sprayed
  10. I have noticed a similar thing when occasionally climbing on a Prussik after a year of climbing on a zig zag. I get all muddled up for the first five minites
  11. 5 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches and I used threaded steel bar hammered into holes in the beam and then 2 holes into the wall fill them with grip fill or the like and hammered the whole thing home with a sledge. [ame] [/ame]Not sure that link will work but just type in 'how to fix a mantelpiece ' into Google and there is a short video of a northern builder who shows you how to do it. Hope that helps will
  12. This is my mantle piece which was the rough end of a 12 ft beam I bought from a mate. It was just milled With an Alaskan and left out side for a couple years. I just finished it with a hand plane and stuck it to the wall. It hasn't moved a lot only on the end with some decay and a knot
  13. Nice one cheers
  14. Milk is not disgusting! What is DISGUSTING is that supermarkets sell bottled water (which is a luxury) for more than they sell milk (which is a staple in our diets) and pay dairy farmers a pittance for it and I know from personal experience that dairy farmers work much harder than tree surgeons. Yes some people are allergic to milk- my son is, and my other son was. But is not as bad as some things that people put into their bodies
  15. Inbox full mate, tried to send you details but it said ur box was full and my message got deleted. Pm me your number and I'll text you tomorrow Thanks will
  16. Great thanks mark
  17. I think I'll go for the sandvik (bahco?) one. cheers mark
  18. Oh forgot my old bosses 076loved the noise it made used to eat big timber I'd swap that with the 461
  19. 372xp I love using this saw 11years old used and abused never missed a beat and bags of grunt 150t only used one once but it was proper! 200t first saw I pick up for most things. 254xp my first saw. Need to get spudulike to rebuild it now tho Stihl 461 for a new Stihl this saw is great
  20. Sorry to bring up an old thread but I want to get a looper head for my hayauchi pole. Have silky fox improved their looper head or should I buy a different and probably cheaper alternative?
  21. Another vote for the ranger, mines been good, had a new clutch tho, but I've just bought a transit tipper so it's for sale or shall I keep it as a spare truck?
  22. I've had one on my 200t for about a month now used it on the ground a bit, caught a few stones and a bit of wire sharpened it as normal teeth are about halfway down now and it's still cutting nicely. I don't think they are bad at all
  23. I tighten all my nuts nuts and bolts once a month😂
  24. Two pines to fell and a hedge to clear, plenty of space to drop the trees and the tractor to clear up. So a fairly easy day
  25. Two pine fells from today
