  1. I have a Facebook page. It is about a month old. I don't update it as often as I should but I either forget to take photos of my own work and don't feel comfortable putting photos of work I do when working for other firms. Shared it with all of my friends and asked them to share it but I've only got 92 likes. My missus has shared it to a lot of local groups and so far I have only had one lead from it but I am going to price a reduction on a tree on Tuesday. So early stages but I think you have to keep posting and keep sharing
  2. I made a bath panel once. It wasn't very exiting. Yep waste too much time too, should be working out a fencing quote now but I'm on here. Or I could just start a thread and ask you guys😀
  3. Looks like I'm sat watching wat the missus wants on the telly while we both stare at our phones and if she tries to talk to me I just grunt or go and poke the fire
  4. I remember that game. Mine was broken tho as when you got to the long jump you could run And run for ages and he didn't jump. Could never work it out as I didn't have an Internet for to ask. Hey! Now I do! How do I get him to jump mark?
  5. Not my parents, my partners parents moved down about 10 years ago from thatcham. Mike and Kim cook, Mike drinks in the castle sometimes. Her grandad moved down last year he is Scottish and dresses very smart when he goes to the castle you would know him if you see him! Next time we are down I will let you know and we can go pub👍🍺
  6. Lived in sheb from 1985 when I was 4 till 2008, got a few friends live around peters marland, used to do a bit of work for frank deimert now and again. Is there much forestry work down there now?
  7. Sounds about right, my general grabbers were £410 for four fitted and bfs are a bit more money

  9. I live in Wiltshire now but I come from shebbear. Used to work for George renny from chittlehampton. My missus parents and grandparents live in landkey so get down there occasionally

  13. I should think it'll be ok it's got all of spring and summer to grow
  14. Ok so I've been following this thread and now want to buy a pulley saver. Question is, which one?
  15. That wood make a nice bit of fire wood
  16. Nice one I like that
  17. Chosen a name yet?
  18. Well I tried out the piranha chain today. I was deadwooding some large scots pine.It didn't seem too aggressive and it left a tidy cut though I think with a sharpen it will cut a little faster. Haven't tried to sharpen it yet. For less than £12 for two chains delivered seems like value for momey
  19. Thanks Steve I'll see how I get on tomorrow with a new one
  20. Hi Steve, did you ever use those piranha chains? How did you get on? I have bought a couple for my 200t. Thanks will
  21. I need to clean mine first time I've climbed sins Xmas and they are all in need of a good clean. I shall use wd40
  22. And red tape and fuel costs
  23. Mostly me dragging brush and carrying logs and sometimes when I can get him to work for me my slightly chunkier mate! Some times maybe a tracked chipper or grinder at the most I could drive my ranger cross it
  24. Just looked at stokbord inst it too bendy?
  25. What about lanky tree services? A play on words. Not a very good one I know. Maybe mazzard tree services, as I think this type of cherry originates in the village
