  4. I once milled a long dead oak for a customer with my Alaskan, we got some lovey dark brown boards which he was really pleased with. If I were you I go and get it, the worst it will be is some half decent firewood
  5. That's a bit harsh! It's probably better than the bearcat I've just bought, I'm having similar trouble with it. And many other problems!
  6. Thanks for all your replies lads but she still insists that everyone she has talked to would not wash chainsaw trousers in their machine. Just have to do it when she goes out or asleep and not leave them around drying
  7. I washed them at 60 degrees with double washing liquid and they weren't that dirty either
  8. I did was two pairs on there own and the pockets were empty
  9. Just had an ear bashing off my missus for washing my chainsaw trousers in her machine, it made it all greasy And smelly apparently. Just wondering what everyone else does with theirs and is she just being dramatic? Thanks will

    You can't go wrong with a ranger! If your on face book find the UK ford ranger forum, good guys on there if you get any problems they are a knowledgeable lot

  15. No I don't think we need gloves to protect our hands from the chain coming off, the safety features of the modern saws have always worked for me, but as others have said wear suitable gloves for the job you are doing, occasionally no gloves are best.
