  3. I'm I'm going to set up my website that I have been thinking about for a few months now, advertise for more work locally with a view to stop working for other people by the end of the year and replace my old bearcat chipper and ranger with a new chipper and 3.5 ton tipper

British climbing methods and safety are years ahead of the yanks😉 Cut4fun is an American spudulike he comes on here sometimes. I enjoy looking at the American climbers Facebook groups and learn a few different things from them
  7. I've got an old pair of bashlins, they rarely gaff out and I've never felt confident on any other spikes, but they don't sit right on my legs. Can I get Velcro pads for them and would that help?
  8. I've just started up on my own too and have a x reg ranger double cab. It's a great truck but I'm hoping to get busier with my own work and will have to sell it and buy a transit tipper, be sad to see it go tho

  11. Deadwooded this oak today. Well, removed all the deadwood over the road and reduced the larger dead over the copse below to leave for habitat

  23. I once milled a long dead oak for a customer with my Alaskan, we got some lovey dark brown boards which he was really pleased with. If I were you I go and get it, the worst it will be is some half decent firewood
  24. That's a bit harsh! It's probably better than the bearcat I've just bought, I'm having similar trouble with it. And many other problems!
