  1. Is there much difference between the Dolmar 6100 and the Makita 6100 apart from the Makita being about £200 cheaper ?
  2. There, their, they're. Don't start that up again Mick it'll all end in tiers
  3. No I was going to say you leave my grammar out of this, she's done nothing to deserve it.
  4. I just have a sign for anyone who it may concern
  5. Go easy on the commas as well, totally unnecessary
  6. That's not grammar it's spelling. Rouge is French for Red innit and God should have a capital G.
  7. Does it have H & L screws same as a saw carb ? Open the L screw up a bit to richen it and possibly speed tickover up a bit as well.

    Tiny echo!

What profile are the screws, D, double D, spline or pacman ? You can buy a set of all 4 for £10 post free on eBay or a bit less on Amazon but plus post.
  9. Think of the environment, don't just blow the problem onto next door here
  10. Is this your neighbour ?
  11. My friend bought a MS181 about the same time as I bought my 135, his 181 went back because it wouldn't oil (new pump fitted) then it wouldn't tick over and now it's a pig to start. My 135 had a problem with the oil pump drive not disconnecting on tickover but once that was cured it's had no more problems. I wouldn't call either of them mediocre they are capable saws they both do the job well for the price. If I get another saw I would probably go for the Echo CS-310ES, cheaper than both the aforementioned but gets good reviews.
  12. They never look good till about three years after they have been done, just get in there and cut some off.
  13. I use a tens machine on my shoulder and it helps, I never tried it on tennis elbow but I will next time it flares up. Being retired means I just take it easy till it goes away, usually within a couple of days. A bandage above the joint and cold compress on the elbow both help.

  16. There's a follow on to that "hard work never killed anyone, but it's a risk I'd rather not take" There's also another saying round here that hard work kills horses, who do you believe ?
  17. Did she have a muff mod ?
  18. I thought he'd just stepped back to survey the job, I didn't see any steam That's just going to make the ground even boggier

Chainsawbars on here has Save Edge round files so they might carry flat ones as well. Rob.D is the man to ask.
  20. Put some instant gasket round it then put it back together and clamp it up.
  21. Apparently you can eat any kind of fungus, unfortunately some you can only eat once.
  22. There is an upgrade kit part number 1145-007-1802 if your saw is an early model. It includes flywheel with altered timing, ignition module and carb for about £100.
