  1. It would have been more interesting if it was a pig.
  2. A friend of mine bought a Jasic 200 multi process and it welds nicely on mig or arc.
  3. There is no SVA now It's IVA A trailer is something that you pull with another vehicle it doesn't have to carry anything. Caravan or chipper, if it's hooked up to another vehicle it's a trailer.
  4. He certainly had his moneys worth out of that one at the end
  5. Sounds familiar [ame]https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qp5hxHPlTq8[/ame]
  6. We delivered a bike to Uxbridge a few weeks ago and there was a colony on the feeder in his garden. I would definitely stop feeding if I had that racket to put up with.
  7. Thanks Felix, I think I need a phone camera with a better zoom on it I just pretend I'm looking for Pokemon at the moment but I think they are getting wise (I'm at a funny age, 64)
  8. Is it alright if I video the girl in skimpy shorts and G string as long as I don't make any comment or wolf whistle then ?
  9. Clear your browser cache if you haven't done it lately. Sent from my KFFOWI using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. AA Teccie, is that armchair arborist Teccie Paul ? I'm an armchair firewood collector and I'd use the ladder. I would cut it in small enough pieces to lower to the ground on a rope to save damage.
  11. If they are too short they are the wrong chains. If the gauge you ordered is correct then there should be no variation in length. Did 76 links fit the Oregon bar before, was the chain new or stretched when you fitted the bar ?
  12. If you had an accident and lost a couple of fingers it could end up saying OLD and FAT
  13. What's puzzling me is why your client is paying for work on someone else's property ?
  14. It looks well rusted and wouldn't take much to puncture it. I bet you could poke your finger through it in places.
  15. That's more of a triangle We had squirrel at the Elvaston wood fair. We were out walking and noticed a lot of hedge nuts on the roadside trees this year. Not seen many sloes though.
  16. Where does it say that's an off road truck ? It looks like it has solid tyres and a solid chassis, no suspension travel on it. Ground clearance looks alright under the chassis but the mast is the low point.
  17. I used to do that on the council round local schools but it was 40 years ago. We used slaked lime and water mixed in a tank on the trailer behind the Land Rover and tip a cap of paraquat in the machine to keep the grass down. It's all done with paint or "fluid" now I believe but the principle must be similar.

    Wages

Does it cover ladders Mark ?
  19. Cut the foot out you missus' tights and wrap it round.
  20. He was wearing the wrong shirt.
  21. Are there a few hanging round outside the entrance to the colony on guard ? We had some in a bird box last year, they were there about six weeks then disappeared leaving a few dead in the box. We looked into it and they were apparently tree bees. They were no problem unlike the wasp nest at the bottom of the garden which I destroyed when I got stung on the belly again. Just read it again and yours sounds like the leaf cutter or solitary bee which we set up a box for. They like narrow tubes and seal their eggs in with vegetable matter for the larva to eat on the way out. They look a lot like a hover fly.
  22. I got a bundle from Peak turning supplies with quite a few woods in for £10. I love snakewood and I did a couple of handles with it. I found some called Partridge wood for a handle for a damascus knife my shooter friend bought and I did another in Ironwood with nickel pins. He bought the knife blanks at a gun fair, I made a sheath for the knife as well but never got round to dieing it yet.
  23. Don't procrastinate, go alkylate. Aspen fuel.

    Ouch..

Why was someone filming a woman walking across a restaurant ?
  25. Is it broken ? Good job you had your hat on back to front or it would have knocked that off as well
