  1. Somercotes is in Derbyshire. Someone on here from Belper, can't remember his name but he might be able to help with a suggestion.
  2. Like my friend at the shop says, you only see them when they want something.
  3. He also said " man and woman on side of hill definitely not on level " How did he find time to think up all this crap ? Tying my boots I now tie the overhand knot one loop below the top and swap the ends over then put them through the top hook and tie my bow. I tie one end of the lace round one of the loops and you can still undo the lace by pulling on one end it just has to be the right one.
  4. O Brother Where Art Thou I can watch it over and over.
  5. I'm getting about 12 spam emails a day all saying similar things and asking me to download an attachment about how much money I can make per day I'm following up regarding several emails I sent you in the past couple days. I am looking over the chart and I don't see your name on this list. I'm getting concerned you might miss out as we need to move forward with or without you. There are a lot of people waiting to get your spot. Who can blame them when our current members are pulling in 10K or more each day from our system." 10 large a day, how can I resist.
  6. You had a problem, it's over now.
  7. It's a gamble buying second hand though and you'll probably wait another year before one turns up at the right price.
  8. Our Hunter stove has a 5" flue which only goes about four feet up into the 11" chimney through a closing plate. I had to put another six courses of brick on the top of the stack which had been used for a gas fire and replace the deflector with a pot. It cured the back draught which we had and you don't need to open a window to light the fire any more.
  9. I would agree with you on this but others don't. I cut a couple of tons of wood with mine yesterday, all different species and sizes up to 12" thick but there are some who have trouble starting and complain of the hardware wearing out quickly.
  10. It should be the same according to AJ gardening.
  11. Wouldn't that make it sloppy in the bar ?
  12. You'll look back at your wallet when it's £400 lighter than if you'd bought a 181 though
  13. Is the chain sloppy in the new bar ?
  14. How many people have found that they broke the covers after modifying them or have actually broken a cover during a rebuild ? It's not something I've ever heard of happening. They are substantial metal a couple of inches square you would have to be rough to damage them.
  15. It's almost as if they have a pathological hatred of trees (or there's some backhanders going on)
  16. Drag it back quick I don't think anyone noticed
  17. Around £1000 would not surprise me if it's not been hammered to death.
  18. Buy another one for the nipper for crying out loud. Make sure it's in your size though
  19. I've looked on hutzl.net and can't see any MS200T kits, one of those would be interesting to do.
  20. I was reading about axe throwing and seem to have slipped into a soft porn site with an innuendo comments section. Does everybody except me have a double header ?

    Jokes???

Where do you take pies to be weighed ? Somewhere over the rainbow. Somewhere over the rainbow, Weigh a pie.
  22. I was watching a Kestrel yesterday while out walking. It was blowing a gale yet it managed to hover in one spot for minutes at a time, amazing birds. We get a few Buzzards and Sparrowhawks as well.
  23. It's not a proper superhero costume without a mask, the braces are a nice touch though like Clark Kent's glasses, take them off and no-one will recognise you.
  24. I'm with the "crack on with it" crew". I've thought about it a few times on a local walk and a couple of days ago someone had done it and carted the big branch away so they must have been official or had the right tackle.
  25. Was he the one who rang the police to report a burglary when someone had nicked his stash ?
