  1. Yes I only look in the pictures forum because it has pictures, a bit like the video forum has moving pictures.
  2. Nice one, just say you're bored and they'll let you have a go Are they his big boy climbing wellies or are they yours he's borrowed ?
  3. Cut the front off the axe head and weld it to a solid post and it will look the part, nice job and well thought out.
  4. Where's the picture ? ( Just asking 'cos it's in the picture section that's all )

    Tiny echo!

Does it rev it's ollox off because it's tuned weak ?
  7. Just done some googling and it is a closed bearing they call it a support bushing but I can't see a UK supplier. How much is a clutch with bearing? Is looking like the best option.
  8. Did it have that bearing in the clutch ? You could measure it up and look on somewhere like bearingboys but it shouldn't have a sealed outer cage if the clutch is running on it.
  9. A couple of years ago the wife and I were out walking and found a laptop in a hedge bottom. I took it home thinking it might be good for parts and after it had dried out I tried it and it worked. It was password protected so I formatted it and put Ubuntu Linux on it and it still works now but I didn't get to see if it had any porn on it but it could be the next thing in hedge bottom porn.
  10. Water it when you first make a heap. We used to do it many years ago when I worked on the school gardens. It helps keep it all in one place and it compresses down quicker.
  11. No it's been there so long the tree grew through it
  12. I've looked through them and if the bidding doesn't go crazy there are going to be some bargains.
  13. Round here it's called community service
  14. I like watching treemotion videos, not so much this one though. Get it fixed and get back to work Dan, hope it heals well.

    Favourite Saw

I just commented on it as I thought the 046 was an 044 and saw the decomp button. When I was repairing mine I saw there were cylinders for sale with decomp buttons so on looking into it the 044 was available with two different size small end bearings and also with or without decomp. There was a discussion on the American site about it. Just out of interest my 036 has no decomp but all the ones I've seen have. I don't have time to have "issues" with anything never mind something as trivial as a decomp button

I've got an 044 but it has no decomp, starts easily without it though.
  18. Is this one, I can't see the picture very clearly but it looks like 242 on the plate. Not much left of it.

    Jokes???

We went to the zoo the other day and all they had was a small dog. It was a Shitzu. Sometimes I like to use big words. I don't know what they mean but I think it makes me seem more scatological.
  20. Why not mine their own ore and smelt it to make the steel for the machine if we're going to those extremes If he said our stuff is crap but buy it anyway would that make everybody happy ? Of course they say their stuff is best it's how marketing works. I've only bought a few files from them and not had any problems, quick delivery and nothing wrong with the product. I dare say the chipper firms buy their teeth in from the cheapest bulk supplier that can make them to their specification and want you to buy their replacements to maintain their profit margins after they lose the machine to your control.

  22. The primer bulb is directional. Make sure you plug it in the right way round it pulls through the carb.
  23. It seems to happen a lot over there Alex, you seem to be busy. Keep up the good work and the videos.
  24. I don't care what they say about you Mick, you are a man with good taste.
  25. Disconnect the kill switch wire from the coil and see if you have a spark.
