  1. That's the one, it's not critical but it's not working properly
  2. Can anyone be a brash dragger, do you need special training or do you just pick it up as you go along ? If you've trained for a thing why do you need to start by doing the menial stuff first ? You want to be a brain surgeon we'll start you off cutting toenails and you can work your way up
  3. In short posts the bottom bar is now going through avatars, I bet this one does it. Do they need padding out to stop it ?
  4. I thought it was spelt how the locals say it. I used to work with some dee dahs at a foundry/rolling mill and they have their own pronunciation for a lot of words, road and boots being two of my favourites.
  5. But you still need to buy lube
  6. Acrophobia is fear of heights. Vertigo is not a phobia. Heights can inspire vertigo though.
  7. Sorry I have to invoke Godwin's law here.
  8. Read about this yesterday, ninja tree cutting with Samurai Silkies ?
  9. Pointless watering at this time of year, wait till spring and see when they start to come into leaf. Did you put sockets in to water them or just scatter it on the ground and hope for the best ?
  10. It's like the instructions on shampoo, rinse and repeat. I couldn't get out of the bathroom till the bottle was empty.
  11. He's behind you ! I think it's panto season Spud (or a potential spammer) You can fit new bearings before the old ones give up but good roller bearings take a lot of hammer if they are oiled properly with good mix.
  12. I tip the saw forward to cut down the back of the piece as far as possible then draw it back towards me letting it do the work.
  13. They are cheap enough to use once but it is accepted that they can be used multiple times even by aviation authorities. As long as you cannot wind it onto the threads past the locking section by hand they are reusable. Some say that there should be at least one whole thread visible after the lock as well.
  14. Chesterfield, Derbyshire snowing well and settling. Steve can you put locations back under pictures, this thread really needs them.
  15. The carbs are made in China, you can buy a whole one for £10 and just use the screw.
  16. Quieter than a helicopter
  17. Somercotes is in Derbyshire. Someone on here from Belper, can't remember his name but he might be able to help with a suggestion.
  18. Like my friend at the shop says, you only see them when they want something.
  19. He also said " man and woman on side of hill definitely not on level " How did he find time to think up all this crap ? Tying my boots I now tie the overhand knot one loop below the top and swap the ends over then put them through the top hook and tie my bow. I tie one end of the lace round one of the loops and you can still undo the lace by pulling on one end it just has to be the right one.
  20. O Brother Where Art Thou I can watch it over and over.
  21. I'm getting about 12 spam emails a day all saying similar things and asking me to download an attachment about how much money I can make per day I'm following up regarding several emails I sent you in the past couple days. I am looking over the chart and I don't see your name on this list. I'm getting concerned you might miss out as we need to move forward with or without you. There are a lot of people waiting to get your spot. Who can blame them when our current members are pulling in 10K or more each day from our system." 10 large a day, how can I resist.
  22. You had a problem, it's over now.
  23. It's a gamble buying second hand though and you'll probably wait another year before one turns up at the right price.
  24. Our Hunter stove has a 5" flue which only goes about four feet up into the 11" chimney through a closing plate. I had to put another six courses of brick on the top of the stack which had been used for a gas fire and replace the deflector with a pot. It cured the back draught which we had and you don't need to open a window to light the fire any more.
  25. I would agree with you on this but others don't. I cut a couple of tons of wood with mine yesterday, all different species and sizes up to 12" thick but there are some who have trouble starting and complain of the hardware wearing out quickly.
