  1. It's snowing lots here at the moment, looks like it's in for the day.
  2. And it's a chain brake not a chain break while we're at it.
  3. Slings1 on ebay is on Sheepbridge industrial estate not far from here, they do winch straps, towing straps and lifting slings. Friend of mine has had slings and winch straps and they are good quality well made items.
  4. I don't even need one of these but now I've seen the videos I want one
  5. Cold with miserable drizzle here at the moment, some really gusty wind overnight though (not bean related)
  6. Husqvarnas rev their nuts off ? What's max rpm on 560xp and a comparable Stihl model ? Max power rpm on the 560xp is still 9,600rpm, similar for the MS362 which doesn't sound like nuts off territory to me. They have rev boost but that's just for a faster pick up.

    Loony Lefties

Who we have to bail out occasionally with their own money so they can pay their annual bonuses out. I've never been refused an operation, who was doing the moaning ? I had to wait 4 months for a hernia operation but I didn't think that was excessive. When I had bladder cancer I was treated within a month so no complaints there either. I spent 4 hours in A&E last Friday getting steri stripped after a dog bite and no complaints again. As for the world of high finance, leave it to those equipped to deal with it is my theory.
  8. Have you tried disconnecting the kill switch wire ? Same coil fits everything up to an 044 so there are plenty of aftermarket replacements about.
  9. It's fine everyone having their opinions but what does the fox say ?
  10. Put a teaspoon of fuel mix down the plug hole and warm the plug

    Jokes???

A recent survey has shown that people eat more bananas than monkeys. Personally though, I can honestly say I've never eaten a monkey.
  12. Now we know it's a lie because they should have been Skittles
  13. Almost, it's to stop the water barrel leaking I believe.
  14. I had a mate like that, wouldn't pay for a drink
  15. McAlpine, Wimpey and Laing, I thought you had to be an immigrant to work for them.
  16. I've not eaten chicken for decades now since we saw them being sorted as day olds and the rejects thrown into a dustbin to suffocate not even necked. I do like eggs though but only buy free range or local farm eggs when possible.
  17. Are you sending him in to buy a butt plug here Steve. ?
  18. Poly tetra fluoro ethylene is similar to the stuff used to coat pans to make them non stick, polyethylene or polypropylene is commonly used for tool handles. I get by calling them all plastic, works for me
  19. When I read the title, walnut causing heave I immediately thought "well don't eat it then"
  20. I'd like one for when the hot air balloons start coming over, stop 'em spying on me the beggars
  21. I posted about that when it happened, there was a bit of fuss about it from their neighbours who didn't like seeing the caravans. It makes you wonder when a developer in Chesterfield was fined £25,000 for the destruction of a couple of trees.
  22. Scattercash ! What size chain is that on ?

    560xp problem

It's what Spud says to Matt usually from what I've read
  24. I have an old Dynamac DY41 (had it since before internet days) made by Efco/Oleo Mac. It still starts and runs well although I replaced it as it was unreliable but then resurrected it with a carb kit when I found out about repairing saws (and emptying fuel out for storage) and cheap ebay bits.
  25. It looks like someone has cut some girdling roots off it in the distant past or it's grown through them and they've rotted away. I'd sit under it for a picnic without any worries.
