    Habitat piles?

    Or a small hill
  2. Is the blade the bar or the chain ? It's the bit that does the cutting.
  3. Why would you strip a perfectly good saw to try to fix an old clunker ? If you can hear the bearings then something is wrong with the bearings, swapping the piston and cylinder will not do anything to alleviate that problem.
  4. Sell it and get something a bit bigger if you need more power and a better chain.
  5. Will it turn with the chain removed? If not see above post.
  6. That's not his bench it's the dining table
  7. It's windy here today, gusting up to 50 mph according to forecast.
  8. My friend has a bike shop and uses the old stock 2 stroke oil in his Black and Wrecker chainsaw
  9. Just order a Walbro WT carb kit off eBay there should be one in it. £2.79 for a kit from UK supplier. Thought you were after the main pre-filter like Shavey.
  10. With your original problem did you take the oil pump drive out with the clutch and check it was properly engaged on assembly?

    Tool thefts

You don't need a permit to use a chainsaw or secure storage verified by the authorities. If you had a lockable cupboard for saws they would be a lot harder to steal.
  12. You save him the cost of cutting it up and disposing of it and you get to do the work, he gets his drive cleared at short notice. All sounds good to me
  13. Does that mean I won't get the one I ordered ? I'll cancel the sale of the house ?
  14. I didn't say they were facts Gary, just playing along with your theme from your earlier post No offence intended.
  15. Old one on gumtree and it's a Jonsereds 451EV with the s on the end. It looks very early with the metal brake handle.
  16. He probably doesn't know any of your junkie burglar mates though Gary Keep your eye on the easy tension chain system, the one I did was more of a self slackening system than anything.
  17. It was JONSEREDS with s on the end, did they change it ?
  18. It's nice and quiet so I can't see anyone noticing.
  19. Fuel metering or internal gauze filter blocked. Clean the carb out and check the diaphragm for holes or sagging as they do get baggy eventually.
  20. Don't take it seriously, it's all in jest Use your Ryobi and keep the chain sharp. Is it the easy tension version ?
  21. Someone tried to give me a Ryobi because it wasn't working. I got my own back on him by fixing it and returning it. How much did you pay for it?
  22. Why would you buy a second hand Ryobi ?
  23. I honestly don't think I could reduce my annual anchovy consumption any lower than it's present level, I'll have to look elsewhere to economise.
  24. You look ready for a new tractor, I'll find room for your old one
  25. When I was sheeting and shunting trailers the boards were rough reddish wood. There was always a supply of them in the depot for repairs and I am pretty sure they were Iroco. Poplar I've left outside turns to mush in no time.
