  1. Correct me if I’m wrong but I seem to remember Stihl coming out with the m-tronic stuff 1st, with Husky bringing out their version sometime after...
  2. What I want to know is (as originally asked), are Stihl and Husky still considered about equal in terms of quality and performance??
  3. Shed any light on whether Husky and Stihl are using inferior quality parts and which make is now the better bet (the clue is in my initial post 😁). Heard it from fellow professional arborists and machinery dealerships...
  4. Hi guys! Heard a few rumours recently regarding Husky (and possibly Stihl as well) using cheaper parts in their saws now. Been using a Husky 346XP for years but I really like Stihl too. Not sure whether to upgrade to a 550XP or an MS 261 C-M. Can anyone shed any light please...?
