  1. When I used to work on the gardens we had a couple of little generators on wheels to power electric hedge trimmers, it was easier than the Stihl petrol trimmer I used a few weeks ago you just had to keep an eye on the cable. The generator could be 6 metres away so not gobbling fumes from that.
  2. Let he who is without blame cast the first stone. Ouch, who threw that !
  3. I thought it was a joke at the start with the smilies and all, it looks a bit keen. Can you ask them to leave it till after Halloween

  5. I buy quite a few things on ebay but usually buy it now items after I check the price elsewhere. A lot of times it is cheaper on Amazon, ebuyer or dabs.com. I have always been treated fairly on ebay so can't complain. I recently bought a new trolley jack and axle stands and was looking on ebay, found SGS and checked up and they are not far from here and offer free post over £100 if you buy from their website but their buy it now price includes postage so buying outside ebay saved me £40

When did you promise yourself this ? Some things just don't really matter and if you need the help of strangers to decide what to have permanently etched onto your body it's probably better to wait till you have more of an idea yourself of what you want.
  7. I'm not bothered what the public think but I do know whatever they make of it I will not watch it and after the edits you will look like a shouty mad incompetent cowboy who argues with the crew, it's what "reality" television is all about these days.
  8. They look more like Russet apples than pears.
  9. Years ago we were sat at some temporary lights with the grandkids in the car and my grand daughter had not long learned to read. She said "wait here when red light shows" then after a short pause she said, "it doesn't say what to do when it goes out" They really should address the whole scenario
  10. This is the company that produces classics like "cowboy builders" and "it's me or the dog" and you openly admit to it ? Please don't do it Mark there's enough train wreck television without bringing it into Arbtalk. Not much happened this week so can someone cut their arm off or drop a tree on the pickup ? All in the best possible taste though.
  11. If you can't fix it with a hammer it's an electrical problem
  12. There's a list of parts manuals here and the MS260 is in there, it shows 7 different carbs.
  13. Lasso it and pull it down, cowboy style.

    Dolmar.

There will be a number after the CC probably Paul, something like 109 or 116. You need to know this information to find the engine size. Look on here.
  21. A Tata would be as good as that.
  22. For £50 I'd want shaving all over, and extras (tea and biscuits, behave yourself)
  23. Are you having a chop to go with those chips and cleaver

  25. The spring in the earlier picture looks like it needs a stretch to take some of the tension out of it so it doesn't stress the anchor point so much.
