  1. My saws start up on fast idle sort of negating anything else and they tick over at 2,500 rpm. I blip the throttle to clear their throat and then go for it.
  2. Clean Oregon driver's license might narrow it down a bit as well.
  3. The drill manufacturers are moving onto brushless motors now and using new technology to extend battery life so it might be worth waiting and the price of the present drills should come down when the new ones are being pushed more.
  4. The Goldstein school of business, always offer them half. I saw some shoes at £50 so I said I'll give you £25 for them. The assistant replied we might be able to do them for £40 so I said I'll give you £20. She returned with £30 is the lowest we can go so I said I'll give you £15. Look I'll let you have them at cost, £20 to get rid of you. I'll take them for £10. If I give you the shoes will you go away and leave me alone. I wanted two pairs.
  5. Come on chaps that's not the way we British do things. Much better to pay over the odds then moan about it after.
  6. I just went to the shop and asked if they have any hot wire to start the chipper. They've put some in the oven for me to collect later.
  7. The one at the front has a lovely smile
  8. I have 4 year old Makita 18v nicad and it's still on the original batteries. They charge in 30 minutes and last long enough for anything I have to do. I've looked at replacements but keep using it and then think why bother just to keep up with the trend for li-ion or whatever is the newest tech.
  9. Or turn up with the cash and get mugged There is a phone number on the chipper you could try ringing to see if they are genuine.

    Disco 2 tyres

Round tyres always work best in my opinion Any other shape is just a waste of time. Black is a good colour for tyres as well

    dcs 5000

It sounds rich at the top end which is how it should be to prevent lean seize. It will chug when revs are flat out but clean up and pull under load.
  12. He put "Saturday night's alright for fighting" on. I'm old now and if anywhere looks like it needs a doorman I keep well away. Let those with something to prove have it.
  13. There's always the sweeping up to do Just look busy, you'll be fine and don't think anything is beneath you. The day goes quicker when you're doing something.
  14. Who, yo mama
  15. It does look a bit like overkill for the size of wood store A 395 still sounds like a sledge hammer to crack a walnut
  16. Go on then, is it loose women or booze ? If the nose came loose it would be all over the forums and it would be going back.
  17. If you have to buy a new cylinder and piston you may as well use it as is till it stops, which it probably will not do anyway. I had an old scooter with lots of fins broken off the barrel and the engine was eventually the only thing left working.
  18. Ears, arms, hands ? Needs more It does sound like burning through excess heat.
  19. 5c has a bit slower processor 32 bit A6 and 5s has 64 bit A7, 5S has fingerprint ID and better camera sensor and neon flash plus motion sensors for health apps.

    Bulldog.
  21. I always used to buy them from a salvage yard and run for 5 or 6 years then swap. It was a cheap way of getting a modern motor. We've had a couple of cat C as well and done my own repairs on them, taken for VIC check no big problem. As long as you are not looking at them as a money making proposition it works out fine.
  22. Do you mean kickback like kick starting old British motorbikes when the compression pulls back at you ?
  23. I'd look at a new saw and keep the old one in case you decide to repair it as a backup or possibly to sell it on later.
  24. Ace, real comedy.
  25. Pendant ! hang about a bit. You are probably a pedant, too many hens I do that as well using odd words in the wrong contest I thought shall I put this in or not, caught on the horns of a diploma
