    christmas

It's on 25th December this year I think.
  2. Just watched Robertson scrape through, he was lucky. Golf ! A waste of good land, you could grow something useful or build some houses on it and people paying to walk round hitting a ball towards a little hole always amazed me. I do own a 7 iron, it's hung on the back of the shed door just in case I ever get the urge to play.
  3. My missus says that about the bed It made my feet itch when he walked across the top
  4. Is there any purpose to leaving dead trees standing apart from habitat ? There looked to be plenty of that left in the area they came from. Firewood would be my first thought, but then again it usually is
  5. The kids grew out of the tree house and we thought we might as well let someone get some use out of it and make a few quid at the same time, can you blame us ?
  6. Completely off topic but this reminded me of a bloke I worked with a long time ago who rode a sidecar outfit. Him and his mate had taken the lead in a race and they had their heads down flat out on the straight when they were overtaken by a bloke called Klaffenbach on a works BMW outfit and he was leaning over and communicating with his passenger I have a Stihl and a Husqvarna depot about the same distance to either and I bought my Husqvarna 135 mainly on price, it looked better value than a Stihl 181 which was dearer and smaller capacity.

    Dolmar

Dry sump system will run any way up. Aeroplanes fly upside down, adapt one of their engines
  8. We have a trailer tent. No weekends though being retired we go when it's quiet in the week. Caravan and camping club members, nice sites and quiet nights as well.
  9. It wasn't real or you'd have been incapacitated.
  10. We had a Zanussi that did something like that. The heater broke off in the drum and I had to sprint in and switch it off. It was out of warranty but they still repaired it for free.
  11. I'd be insulted by a £50 offer for a working saw 038 and 039 still fetch good money for old saws why would something bigger be worth so much less ? If he'll take £50 snatch his hand off, 80+CCmust come in useful at times if you need to use a bigger bar for anything but I'd say at least 3 times that if it has a decent size bar and chain.
  12. I thought he was off Blue Peter I thought people went to live in places like that to get away from stuff like television crews and all they bring with them.
  13. Did he have permission to fell them ? Tell him how to put a gob cut in and leave him to it. I'm only a firewood cutter but I think I could get them down a bit better than that. You might get some work out of it cleaning up after him
  14. I had similar with my plastic oil pump drive sticking on the metal crank. I wrapped some emery round a dowel and rubbed the drive centre then cleaned it up and greased it a bit and it's all been fine since.
  15. I'm on EE sim only setup £7.22 a month for 150 minutes, 500 texts and 250 meg data. A lot of the time I'm on wifi and the texts go as iMessage or I use Whatsapp so don't cost anything or count as used. Only time I've been charged extra was for answerphone which I pressed by accident
  16. And a shotgun A few potshots with the catapult and you'd soon fetch it down I reckon and a lot quieter. A would be a good deterrent.
  17. That's shot that is
  18. It's not that Poplar round here Predatory text I expert.
  19. EE, T-mobile and Orange are all the same company so you are still under the same coverage and it probably will not make any difference. Run the old one out in case their contract has any clauses to penalise you for ending early.
  20. You win some you lose some. EE cover is loads better round here than any of the other providers and it doesn't drop out very often.
  21. Just put your cashpoint (hazard) lights on and park on the pavement, that's what seems to happen round here. It's extra points if you can block my dropped kerb at the same time like a lot of people try to do.
  22. I was given a pair of Tomcat boots and they are very strong boots, not very flexible though but they will bed in.
  23. A friend of mine used to have an ex gas one with compressor and generator built in as well as the cooking and everything else. It was brilliant you could run single and 3 phase tools and blow tyres up or run jigger picks and shot blasting equipment.
  24. Where were you when it went up the chipper? I bet you blame him for everything that goes wrong. How much do you pay him to be able to dock him £320 ?
  25. Mine's been down this afternoon but it got back to normal about 1800 and up to full signal now. Oddly my phone had no service showing and my wife's 3GS was on the desk next to it with two bars showing, both on EE.
