I wear a pair of ordinary gloves when cutting, the rubber palm grip gloves sold for gardening but I don't follow the "throttle control" bit as when I use a saw as it should be used the throttle is either on or off, tick over and flat out for cutting. It says that in the manual and I never found a need for part throttle cutting. -
They are back on ebay selling as tree and grass spares, still blindstickinsect. I had a few bits off them earlier this year.

I think the hard to work on bit is only if you are stripping to fit new piston and cylinder kind of jobs. A friend of mine has the 039 with a 20" bar and it seems to me it struggles a bit in thick wood but it might just be that the saw is tired.

Same size as me BMI of 23. I'm 63 next month and it's the heaviest I've ever been. I used to struggle to get over 9 stone till I reached my 40s.

There's a Mac B&Q saw in my mate's shed in bits. I had a look at it and it's so badly made. The throttle cable end came off and you have difficulty getting even basic spares and the carb is not Walbro or Zama so spares for that are scarce as well. -

Mine was like that when I got it but I bought the splined screwdriver and richened the low screw up a bit and speeded the tick over back up and it's as good as gold now. I used to have to switch the fast idle every time to restart but now it fires and pops along nicely. -

135 only has one bolt, I never had a problem with it though. -

You can still get the 135 for under £200 from lawnmowersdirect and a couple of others but I've not seen MS181 under £200 from anywhere. I got mine for £189 a couple of years ago and it's been fine. A friend of mine had a 181 and had problems with oiling but it was sorted under warranty, new pump fitted. -
Think of a number double it and add £10 like your wife did. Then let them knock you down the £10 so they feel like they've got a better deal

We had one made for our 12x5 trailer and it came with bungee cord, eyelets and buttons to fit on the trailer for £170. It's made of curtain sider sheet and is really tough. It might not be north enough for you though, Specialised Canvas Services. They kept the trailer overnight and rang me next day to say it was ready.

I own Husqvarna, Stihl (saws) and Electrolux (cooker). I have a Honda and a Kawasaki as well. It's a lot cheaper to produce, repair or replace a plastic part.
