  1. Tend to charge about £0.30/m2 for roundup or Scotts react & £0.50+ /m2. Difficult terrain and access are taken into account with a labour charge added where necessary.
  2. My opp at Hitchinbrooke hospital on hold due to erratic heart rate - it needs to be steady above 55bpm but at pre-op was 34..... Off to Papworth in May.....

  4. I charge a flat rate per m2, with a minimum area. Depends on what I'm spraying - ie residual/selective & by what method - knapsack or tractor.
  5. We stack 4x pallets high. All pallets undercover - currently got 160x 1.2m3 in vented barn. Farm is on a slight hill with great convection air currents. Average m/c after 12 months is 18%.

  8. Hi Dan, you'll need PTS certificates to work trackside, ie within 2m of a live track. We're a contractor to one of the rail franchises, don't touch trackside work - just concentrate on access roads & car parks.
  9. Hi Will Speak to Adam at GT Towing, I'm sure he could help. On my defender 130, I've got a split-charging system, high power inverter with twin 13 amp sockets and I run LED lights so low power draw.
  10. Before you pay extortionate amounts for website hosting, have a look at mrsite.com They host my 3 websites, they're all mobile friendly and cost about £120 / year for up to 50gb space, 10x email addresses etc.
  11. My Deltrak has been out mowing grass / brambles etc since February .. Look, it's loaded up again today for work this weekend.... (The rubber blocks hide the track spikes & allow it to traverse hard surfaces)
  12. Buy an iPhone stick it in a Lifeproof frè case - shock, dust, snow & waterproof to 2m for 1/2hr. Mines never let me down.
  13. Working near Moor Hall Golf Club in the 90's, traffic lights set up as we were deadwooding the boundary sweet chestnuts. Guy jumps traffic lights in golf gti - just after both set to red. Large piece goes thro his sunroof & just misses him.... There are idiots everywhere. I'm just glad that as the cutter with his finger on the trigger of a stihl 009 top handled saw, he was ok...

Hi Carl, The day rate includes an operator (me) + a chainsaw if needed, fuel for the tractor and travel up to 20 miles from our East Herts base, over that a mileage charge of £0.75/mile applies. A day can be 8 - 10 hrs in length, depending on weather conditions & quality / size of rings to split. Regards, Matt

  25. This is on my 'bench/floor' Caught something solid hidden in 5 ft brambles with the Deltrak, while working on a 50 degree slope & bent the roller. Which then impacted the flails.......
