Cheers mate, sizes are coming! We do pretty well with softwood up here, selling roughly double the amount of hardwood. We find that people are usually scared into buying hardwood from the stove sellers/fitters, but once we explain that properly seasoned softwood will not damage their chimney and can also be just as good as hardwood (needs depending) they are usually willing to give it a go. Ill look to calculate volumes this week and add to the information. Hi, This is my first post of here so I'll say a little about myself to start I'm based in the north east and I run my own firewood company called Newlands Firewood Supplies with my brother. We've been going for 5 years now starting with an axe and a chainsaw in year one selling ~£1000 worth of logs and now on to a harvester and processor with a few machines between selling a heck of a lot more! :big grin: Anyway, Ive just set up my website complete with online store and would love to get some feedback from you lads.
