  1. Hi, This is my first post of here so I'll say a little about myself to start I'm based in the north east and I run my own firewood company called Newlands Firewood Supplies with my brother. We've been going for 5 years now starting with an axe and a chainsaw in year one selling ~£1000 worth of logs and now on to a harvester and processor with a few machines between selling a heck of a lot more! :big grin: Anyway, Ive just set up my website complete with online store and would love to get some feedback from you lads. Especially since you know what you're talking about when it comes to firewood! Link: http://www.newlandsfirewood.co.uk Thank you, James
  2. New to the firewood market so any help or advice would be appreciated Through the day to day running of our business we get a lot of oak beam off cuts which we have been selling as firewood for years. To speed up production we have just put in a firewood processing plant and are now looking for more timber to build up this side of the business. I'm looking for round logs (not sure what the correct term is fit it) softwood and hard wood delivered to Pembrokeshire west Wales. Can anyone tell me where I can get this from or what I need to be asking for, and what price I should be paying. Thanks Celtic Timber
  3. Hello Not really to sure if I have done this right but anyway. We are a coal merchants who sell about 500 tons of wood a year. However we have been so busy with coal lately that we have had very little time to cut wood and have very nearly sold all we cut in the summer. Basically we are looking for about an artic load of 1 cubic metre bulk bags of hardwood 8-9" logs split and ready to sell. We can arrange haulage but the closer to Bicester, Oxfordshire the better. I appreciate that you guys will be very busy to but if anyone can help I would be very pleased. Thanks Robert A E Prentice
