I am like you tom, i have a 220mx and absolutely love it, but could do with a tracked machine. I am looking at the tr8, like you have tried and am very impressed. I have heard alot of positive stories and a couple of minor issues with Forst. Good luck with your decision

I was kindly given from silky his old blue tongue rope which i have used most days for about a year without a cambium saver and have had no issues.

I have had a couple of these. Fantastic motor, solid and good engine. Only down side is because of no turbo, they are desperately slow especially fully loaded towing the chipper. I have no doubt it will serve you well.

Yes, since you gave me your old blue tongue rope, (which of course i am still very grateful of) i have used nothing else since. Cannot see myself going back to 13mm now. Cheers bud

I was down in Penzance over the weekend, there were more wasps there than i have seen all summer.
