  1. How do you know they were ripping off the customer and are you sure they did not inform the council of the work to be carried out. Just because they were not wearing ppe does not mean they dont mind hurting themselves. If you feel this strongly, then maybe you should have gone over and had a chat with them. Maybe there was good reason they were doing this, maybe/probably not, then perhaps you could of educated them. Personaly if i saw this, i would probably tutt to myself and think no more of it, but thats just me. Grassing them up without knowing anything of the situation........hmmm.
  2. Defo clutch. I always find that saw starts better with brake off anyway, hence i always do
  3. Sickening.... plenty of room to jog along the pavement so it seems.

  9. I have like an adaptor for my jameson poles which then allows me to fit the usual sandvik blade that most use with the aus poles.
  10. Although they are not the same, there are many similarities. He will/should have confidence in the kit and techniques, be good with heights and understand the systems used and be familiar with much of the kit.
  11. I would really like to try the geckos though.
  12. As others have said, if you can try somebody elses first would be best. If you do, make sure that they are adjusted to your size correctly otherwise you will get a false feel of what they are like, this is very important. Mine adjusted incorrectly are torture, but correctly i love them. I have used my kleins for about 10 hrs a week on average for the past 15 or so years and have no issues.
  13. Yeah bulldog is certainly one of the better makes and one that insurance companys want to see you using. Alot of the cheaper ones you could have off (without the key) in less than 90 secs.
  14. Thats a fair size log scraggs. Did it lift that or did you have to roll/walk it on?
  15. Its so mild down here Paul, 17 degrees yesterday.
  16. Are you talking about my post arbtech ts?
  17. Someone said today that even with a pre 97 licence, if you want to drive 7.5 ton for business use, you will need another cert/test/licence, sounded something like cbt (obviously not cbt), can anyone expand on this?
  18. You still not sorted the problem with neighbour jon!!
