  1. Power pruners are a no no around power lines, even on a shut down i'm afraid Paul. Even on a shut down (especially lv) there can be live equipment around.
  2. The newer 201tcm seems to be a good saw, plenty of power. I got one at the arb show and am very pleased with it. The lad who works for me has the 540 and although the power is good, the build quality is very poor.
  3. Got to agree. A large pto stump grinder on 200hp tractor is very quick.
  4. There is a hamlet near here called Broad oak
  5. That sitka at Aira Force is the biggest in the country, sure looks bigger in real life.
  6. I heard the bermuda triangle was 3 ley lines converging. I dont know if there is any truth to this, has anyone heard this before?
  7. Yeah, when i bought my 150 brand new in about 2005, i bought it without brakes cos i always found them to go wrong where we would drag it around off road. Never used to notice it behind a 4x4.
  8. Excellent looking machine mechtrev. Is that an old TW? Only thing i would suggest is perhaps have a smaller blade. Good work mate.
  9. Sorry to hear that Mat. Is that winn green to salisbury by way?
  10. Cypress, sounds like a work holiday to me. Have a good time mate.

  12. Some lovely photos there logsnstuff:thumbup:
  13. Not forgetting that the steel toe caps are great for reducing the chance of broken toes from dropped logs.

    Hilux

I had a single cab hilux and made up some greedy boards with ply and box metal so u could just take them on/off as required. Worked really well, suprising how much chip i could squeeze on and drove ok full up. It was a '95' non turbo model so quite slow. Did not take long to fork off chip. Have a detachable roof to make forking off easier.
  18. What makes these motors so desirable? I'm not dissing them, just asking.
  19. Gotta love a big tow behind chipper. What size will it chip and what sort of price is it with a winch above hopper?
  20. Or yust a bowl of ravioli with grated cheese then microwave....
  21. I think the 'Boo Radleys' wrote a song called lazurus. I used to have a girlfiend from Eccles On Sea near Stalham. And that oddly pronounced village called Happisburgh, pronounced Haysborough i believe. Sorry, can't help with the logs, good luck.
