  1. Good pics paddyvero. Had to be a bit careful with the crane and those hv powerlines out the front.
  2. That was great to watch Rich. Nice seeing a job run pro and smooth.
  3. Or, 'gets stabbed with the crows' (tonights game of thrones'. Sigh
  4. Very fare point Ted and one i had not considered when you say of 'adding to economic decay of society'. Beggars who guilt trip one into giving is completely wrong and i do not have the time of day for people like that. I am saying, if i choose to give someone money, i then have no right to then tell them what thay can or cannot spend it on.
  5. I give money from time to time, depending on my mood and how they approach me. Who am i to tell them what and what not to spend their money on? Are they not allowed little luxuries in life also?
  6. Nice touch having your man splicing in view on site. I'm sure he was busy.
  7. Yes, but it looks like stihl have now caught up with the power, with the new 201tcm.
  8. Fair play to you for posting that.
  9. I like it when they have already started to clear the mess with their 4' ×4' trailer and not even made a dent in it. Because it is then that they realise exactly how much and what hard work it is and you can charge accordingly. In fact it sounds quite cheap to them. Its amazing how much you can chip in an hour with the 220mx.
  10. I'm sure you are probably bored of hearing this dave, but i do love your set up, it is awesome. Saves on a third man alot of the time i bet.

I dont think he fell off ladder, i rekon he jumped. He saw top was about to go and started down ladder pretty sharpish, he was half way down the ladder when the tree creaked again and he thought it was about to go which is when he bailed. Thats how i saw it anyway. Doesn't make it any better.
  12. WOW, that is very very impressive. You have made it look aged which is superb. You must feel immensely proud.
  13. Trust insurance brokers (01604 492644) will find someone for u. They are friendly, easy to deal with and competitive on price.
  14. Looks like a dumpy bag could fit over those pins, or certainly adapted to.
  15. Did not know that, thanks
  16. No worries jon, just read where you got it on another of your posts.
  17. Where did you get that jon? I did not think they were available in this country.
  18. Whats the stihl upgrade Ti?
  19. I used to go and watch Victor Brox a fair bit about 20yrs ago. He used to play alot round this way (north dorset), particularly The Barrel House in Sturminster Newton. A great musician.
  20. Going in at featherweight, 5'7" and about 9 1/2 stone
