  8. Sorry to hear of your brother. As Goaty says, it will make you alot more flexible, split into 2 teams, with a trailer be able to cart loads away on those big jobs. I always prefer 2 vehicles but only you know if it will suit your business model. Good luck

  15. It can anoy me when customers try it on sneaky (as if we would not notice), but to be honest, me chipping for 5 mins saves them an hour or 2 carting it to local tip. Most of the time these are goid people whom i am only to willing help.
  16. I took down a monster of a beech tree this week and mate helped me with his new 395 with 30" bar. I had a go and absolutely loved it. Did not notice it to be vibey. Prefered using his 395 over my 088!
  17. Of course, no estate or woodland owner are going to give away their harvest, I was trying to explain simply rather than go into it. That work can be done for the timber.
  18. That should be in the 'quotes you like' thread.
  19. It can work IC. Of course forestry is doing that always. I agree though IC, it rarely works in arb.

  22. I would guess there is 4 or 5 ton there. At say £40 a ton roadside = £200. And u dont have to haul it out rear garden, clear brush and leave neat and tidy. I do love these adds.
