  1. Cheers Robert. I shall save it too, if i can work out how! It is superb
  2. Has anyone a link to that animated sketch about the Black walnut? Don't bother going on ebay with ideas of purchase, as I've already had a deal with the fella!!
  3. Could someone please help me id this funghi. I am useless with this side of the job. Sorry if pictures are not correct way, i am a virgin picture uploader!
  4. Mate of mine has one. Unbelievable bit of kit. To see it working is something else!
  5. Probably not mate. I missed my 39 and had to redo it. My Mrs however did not send off for her licence for about six years (supposed to do it in 6 months of passing) so started training again to pass again. She later found out that dvla had automatically done it for her cos they had proof of her passing.
  6. True. Also for female yew trees to berry, there needs to be a male nearby to pollonate it.
  7. A mate of mine moved to NZ about 10 yrs ago and took his saw. I remember that it had to be absolutely spotless due to NZ laws.
  8. If your looking for value for money, Screwfix are quite good
  9. I take it that you meant to say 'not cheap'. So only a little longer than freehand. Be good on those longer chains where i start to get sloppy halfway through.
  10. How long does it take to sharpen a 18" chain 5 shires?
  11. Sorry no definitive answer here btggaz, but i recently had a 14yr old Cresto harness lolered. The loler chap did say it will need inspecting again in 3 months as apposed to the normal 6 because of its age, but it was deemed fit for use. I think different manufacturers will will have different shelf/use lifes. Remember though, at the end of the day its an ass covering exercise.
  12. I personally think that ivy is ugly in trees.
  13. Spring I believe, so maybe Summer, more likely Autumn being Husky!!
  14. That has got to be one of your best avatars yet Paul.
  15. Haha. I am sure I remember reading a similar story to this 2/3 yrs ago on here. There is something not right about this, it stinks.
  16. I would have a removeable or hinged roof so that you can stand up to handball it out rather than on yer knees.
  17. If there are no such things as 1m3 dumpy bag, how come you got one? Still good price, wet or dry.
  18. Did you go to St Ives just up the road from where you are now? Some great pubs there and good atmosphere, we went on cricket tour a few years ago. Mevagissey is a beautiful fishing village on South coast of Cornwall not a million miles away from Eden Project. If your passing well worth a stop. It was great having you over Paul, apologies for my health at the time, just coming out of it now, thanks to some antibiotics and steroid tablets, amazing these drugs. Enjoying reading of your travels, keep it up mate.
  19. Yes SSE are huge on safety, ott with a lot of it if you ask me, like for example, 2 main lines and a lanyard on a small straight pole or apple tree, safety gloves when peeling your apple during lunch!! I find when using both ends of your rope you can get lots of twists in the middle. This certainly used to happen when I used this technique with my old 3 strand.
  20. That would be good of you if you do find the time. Over the years I have always given, thrown away or taken to the axe my arb waste. More recently however, I have started thinking it would be better to utilise the larger and better pieces of timber by milling them. So for you to give an idea of what to look for would be great.
  21. I learnt on both ends of my rope too, can be a good system at times. As soon as I passed cs39 I changed to one end of my rope and a lanyard and have not looked back since.
