  1. If its next to a road its sensible to be safe and have it out and replant as you suggest. That wound does not look like its going to get any better, just worse i would guess. Might not be a bad idea to recommend to have the other cherry trees reduced. Is that correct that the best time to prune cherry trees is april to august? Not that i dont believe you agg, just nice if somebody else can confirm also.
  2. Yeah this was always my thought. Had it backfire once or twice when i have done a small job for someone i know and said 'get us a drink mate'. Finished job and they produce a four pack of Carlsberg.....ahhhh

  9. Mountain and mole hill spring to mind. Sorry but i was not there and maybe its far worse than it sounds. That would have been pretty good signage 20 yrs ago, i'm not saying thats a good thing.
  10. I dont think that matters felix. We have all heard the storys of burglars maiming themselves on a fence and claiming compo from the owner. The world has gone mad!!!

I am glad to say i have not had that for some time, lad i have on currently is a great find, always using his initiative trying to be one step ahead. Hope you and family are well Paul. Hope to catch up soon, probably be an arb show.

  15. Can't help with diagnosing problem, but i would advise that you stop using easy start.
  16. Bang on. It is very rare that people get a real emergency, but when they do then yes try and sort. But inconveniences or minor emergencies, Why should the employer be out of pocket.
  17. My 201tcm has a good amount of power, not quite ms200 but pretty good. Nice work again james.
  18. Yes have read that. The high polards or topping are sometimes referred to as french pollards are they not?
  19. Good vid king. You should use collar cuts when dead wooding too. Could you not find an old bit of rope to makeshift a strop. If that was me, i would have thrown the saw to catch the strop and at last minute realise i've not got one and watch my saw freefall to the deck. Nice work.
