  7. Just makes it look like your saw is blunt mick haha.
  8. Also the battery may seem better than the husky due to the narrow pitch chain not having to push so hard through the wood.
  9. Snow, sun, hail, rain, windy, still, really warm, really cold and that was just this afternoon!!
  10. I am reading about you and the battery saw with great interest paul. It is something i have been considering about for a year or so, but decided the technology is not quite there yet. You seem to be slowly convincing me otherwise. Have you any experience with the husky battery saw, it does look better?
  11. Any capable climber should be able to rescue someone. Somebody who only has cs38 shoul refresh every 3yrs imo.
  12. Thank you David. I guess there will be massaria in other parts of the tree, surely it is not contained to soley one branch, or is it?
  13. Great photos Nathan. Whats going on in the pic with the pinto pulley near the passanger door?
  14. I do mostly powerline clearance and have to cross fields most days. 4x4 is the answer and because i often have to travel an hour or more each way, i want something that drives well and is comfy. It ticks those boxes. Tows the chipper really well too.
  15. I took my boy to the beacon burn at Okeford Hill in Dorset. They had a bar and bbq which was good. It was great looking into the distance and seeing maybe 6 or 7 other beacons in the distance.
  16. No, double cab iveco daily. If i did more domestic i would certainly consider o licence, but to be fair it is rare that i am fully loaded.
  17. Got pulled last weekend, front axle under, rear under (just), overall over by 18%, 4150kg i think by memory. £300 fine.
  18. I remember a similar thread to this back along and it seemed that many people used (please correct name if its wrong) redline racing, i think it was called. Many at the time said this was a far superior oil. I use any of the 2t oils by husky or stihl, whatever is available at the time and never had any issues. I will swap to redline for my next purchase however.
  19. Interesting as i have heard this before from stihl or husky (cant remember). Thanks for clarifying that Rye.
  20. I have 30" waist use a willans. I have to have it as tight as it goes but dont have any problems.
  21. Agree with Mick and Mark. Wrong tree wrong place. If you fell it now you should not have any problems with the roots, though do not quote me on that.
