  1. Good bloody point. My mrs organises medical conferences. That's literally all I know.
  2. Rob, any news on the new echo? High clip point? Possibility of an 8" sprocket nose bar?
  3. The only two from my Facebook. From some time ago.

  5. Not taking the mick. Step cutting end heavy laterals is just gonna put a hole in whatever you're avoiding. As for a silky, well, on multiple 6" branches I just really can't be bothered.
  6. How do you cut and chuck branches with both hands on the saw?
  7. Test your base tie with 2 people. Safety factor of x2 there. Ascent with confidence that your anchor help you and your tubby mate, then back up your TIP with an alpine and pinto. Forces are now reduced back to normal. Do I get a medal for figuring that out?
  8. Give the golf courses/allotments a ring.
  9. Why weren't you lanyarded in when you suffered an arterial bleed?
  10. They're conifers Steve. Top them and they'll be a lovely hedge this time next year. Or you could thin them.
  11. Swamp cypress have roots like have been described
  12. You can't go wrong with either mate. If it's going to be your biggest saw get the 461. It pulls a 25" bar very well. The 20" is a ripper
  13. They all plug into the same generator, fuckwit.
  14. Off you pop then! To the shed! I'll trial it for you. Millions to be made on this.
  15. I wouldn't bother running them dry. The ethanol in fuel degrades the rubber parts, but also keeps them supple. It's when the rubber dries out that it cracks. I'd store them as they are, and just empty the tank and refill with fresh fuel before using them again.
  16. I use both for Arb work. Got a 460 on 25" at work, and it's a cracking saw. I also use my saws at work. A 441 on 20" and 660 on 30" I prefer mine 😀 The 441 on 20" is so smooth and quick. Doesn't rip like the 460 but it's just a joy to use. Guess it depends on what size bar you want. 20" = 441, 25"=461
  17. I'll raise you a monkey puzzle with climbing rose...
  18. You haven't walked in my shoes Ian. It's not easy. Unless you're also a size 7
  19. In hindsight I thing your fiancé should feel lucky she's marrying "the best stump grinder in the uk"... 😄
  20. i might still have the main part of this knocking about. Minus the Pinto, prussic and retrieval clip. Yours for the postage if you want (and I can find it).
