  1. 2nd Tudor Wayne is your man for anything 2 Stroke
  2. I can't explain it. It obviously needs to come down though, and it won't be cheap...
  3. It pulls it fine, just not fast.
  4. Your soulmate will be along soon enough.
  5. Thanks for taking the time to film it. Was there any need to rig down the stem only to fell the rest of it?
  6. Pity, my cocaine and hooker bill is getting expensive.
  7. Apparently it was blocking the light and dropping leaves onto a new patio David. Had to go.
  8. It's Friday and i'm half cut. It's a reluctant offer at best. The last time I climbed to rescue something from s tree it wasn't exactly grateful..,
  9. I'm about an hour away from you. If you really get stuck I can sort you out. I'll want some drone footage in return though.
  10. See,I was listening! Understanding however...
  11. If you're looking for a 70cc saw to sent Steve's way look at either a Husky 372 or a pre x-torque 365. Much more can be done to them. I've a 357xp and an MS660 that Spud fiddled with. Both fantastic saws
  12. Spud mentioned that there's not a great deal you can do with the 441 in terms of porting. Something to do with the placement of the piston ring in relation to the inlet port.
  13. Can't be many 90+' oak trees dotted about. Impressive that you managed to hit one... Thing is, you're asking for climbing advice on a forum populated majorly by climbers. We're not exactly gonna say "yeah that 2nd hand dynamic line will be fine, we just buy the expensive stuff 'cos we're flash". You won't be able to buy an appropriate climbing kit for less than the drone is worth, so you're options are take Steve's advice, or stop flying into trees.
  14. I'd imagine because it was a helluva lot quicker, easier and safer than rigging it all down...

    Emigrating

Same everywhere on that one mate. A 2 man team can knock out 4 £200 birch kills in a day, but once you start pricing the bigger jobs clients start sucking their teeth.
  16. I used to like the Natanoko until the 150 came out. Now I rarely use my silky on anything over 4", so the big silkys just feel clumsy. The little Tsurugi 210 is perfect. Compact on your harness, doesn't ever fall out, and has an aggressive cut which packs a punch for its size.
  17. You're beyond help. Is 2x the risk not enough for you?
  18. You could just clip the spliced eye back into your attachment ring. Bloke from arbor venture was touting this setup in honeys at the APF. Apparently it works well, but I'm pretty sure he shouldn't have been advising it.
  19. A rarity round here mate. Needed the energy for shifting that 4.5' stem onto the transits. Need to start getting grab wagons in for that kind of stuff.
  20. Never took you for someone who'd keep his meat to himself Steve.
  21. Ash dismantle from yesterday. Septic tank beneath tree and a few shrubs to avoid.
  22. Mines a hard to find one. Tsurugi curve, 210mm, large teeth. Efficiency over length Mark.
