  4. This small enough scale for you? its just a 5 gallon plastic bucket.Just make sure the work piece is suspended above the crud in the bottom of the container so it doesn't short out. I use at least 2 sacrificial anodes as the work piece gets cleaned from two sides. They don't call them sacraficial for nothing, see picture 2
  5. If I need to derust large stuff I make a tank with a plastic pond liner supported by bales of straw and concrete blocks, sleepers etc, my mate uses one of those big square plastic containers in a cage with the top cut off.

  8. A timed deck is one that has multiple blades and the belts that run between them are toothed as are the pullies like a valve timing belt on an Over head cam vehicle . if you hit an obsticlal the belt can jump a cog or two resulting in smashed blades. when i cut my own hedges and shrubery i nearly always use the honda pro,16" izy or countax with high muching deck to do what you want.
  9. Not sure about building a tit, the amps would need to be down to build it and to avoid melting surrounding metal so penetration may not very good?

  11. Thats a powerful beast john, have you seen this vid? Fenix RC40 Beamshots (100 Meters):
  12. I've had a lenser h7r head torch for a few years now and cant fault it. It extends the working day by no end at this time of year and although its rechargable i carry a set of 3 tripple a batteries just in case it runs out. Its also great to use on the old tractor or mower after dark when they dont have Working lights . The brightness is infinately variable , it can be adjusted so glare can be minimised which can be a problem with torches that are too bright.
  13. B7000 is two cyl import so my be more problamatic with parts . The best forum to learn about kubotas is orange tractor talk

  18. I know some one who got wiped out so had kit marked with SW. Despite having signs everywhere he lost 10 grands worth of saws a few weeks ago so no deterrent at all for some thieves.
  19. Ive cut them on straight bores but I guess you would have to clamp the FL on a lathe face plate with wedges under it so the taper is parallel with with the bed . Edit: Like this vid but clamped at an angle equal to the taper
  20. So how much are you guys paying for white diesel at the pumps, around Cardiff the superstores are charging 131.9 pence per litre?
  21. There are dozens of ash trees in SE Wales that look like the ones in your pictures, some have no leaves at all. I first noticed some partial defoliation in the dry spell of last summer and even more Ash are leafless or partially leaved with just the brown keys hanging down this year.I have looked at several close up and none are showing any classic signs of die back as shown on the net.
  22. Agreed. if you mean to cut at more than a snails pace then around the diameter of a little finger is what I have found.
  23. GifGaf use O2 network,I use Talkmobile which uses the Vodaphone network. Our best Talkmobile SIM only deals | Carphone Warehouse
  24. Would the roots be severed when excavating the drainage runs?
  25. I bought several gallons of asulox 1970's to control large patches of bracken. I used the last of it around 10 years later,it still seemed to work so maybe the modern stuff has a shorter shelf life?
