  1. I use magnets from old computer hard drives, they have unbelievable power. I have several screwed to to a piece of batton which is fixed to a longer handle forming a "T" so it can de dragged along the ground in comfort.

  5. Well I find it works ok because all that's needed to dump are the base forks floating and pointing down, then drive forwards. Getting the stuff to stay on is the tricky part unless one's pushing into heaps
  6. With a small machine one has to be mindful of the weight and length of the implement to avoid limiting the load ?
  7. Congratulations youve bought a great bit of kit, I really love mine. Did you buy new or SH? I use a tipping buckrake with no modification, for pushing hedging brash into a heap but a grab sounds great.

  10. Hi, I had an old boy bring one of these saw in that wasnt cutting too well. It needs new bar,chain and drum but am having difficulties locating them. The part numbers are: Drum..2851-51111.0.325-7T Bar......2939-52110-50 Chain....3699-91241 16"95vp-66e Does anyone have a cross reference of something to fit , the drum has 13mm bore, OD 71mm and ID 68mm Thanks slim
  11. My lounge has a stairs leading from it so when I worked out the heating requirements I included the stairs and landing. The total volume was 70m3 so I bought a Clearview vision 500 which just about does it.

  13. When you cleaned the carb did you take out the mixture adjusting screws inlet needle and wire gauze filter ?
  14. engine output shaft goes directly into the hydraulic pump have you checked they are both the same?

  16. Ive just had a look at my powerfab wtd125 and it doesnt look too much of a problem to weld some nuts inside the casing, mine does have a gx340 engine though

  18. I suffered 30 years, taking acid reflux pills and potions, cameras' up and down,several times, then I had a biopsy of the small intestine while the camera was down .That was 5 years ago and haven't taken any meds since, downside is , I can't drink beer ☹
  19. Any fellow sufferers out there may be interested that Aldi had a gluten free display of items when I went in today . They had Genius bread and porridge oats at very good prices as well as biscuits, cake mixes spaghetti etc. It appears to be a trial to see how things sell so I stocked up on items with a good shelf life in case the trial fails.
  20. Depends how one defines "faster", faster to do the job or faster for the lawn to be completely green again? In my view pulling wins hand down as the bare patches can be seeded immediately the weed is extracted .

  23. while I wait to see how much bracken will return and need retreating I thought I would post some pics of what was hiding under it all.
  24. I Don't usually buy cheap tools but my air CP impact wrench decided to throw a weak fit so decided it was quicker to pop into lidl and pick one up this AM for an emergency job . First impressions are very good,the build quality looks excellent, and rips to nuts off pretty well, only tightens to 100nm though...label says its made by Grizzly Tools.
