  1. Lots of tool outlets grab our attention with "good deals" but they have low AH batteries which are a waste of time for other than light duty use. I bought an Aeg drill with 2x 3 ah batteries to replace an old one of the same make and its excellent but was disapointed that it was now chineese, made by TTI Here is an interesting link to give an idea of which manufacturers are in bed with: Tool Brands: Who Owns What? 2. Iv'e only found one place that sells Barnel loppers, where did you get yours from? cheers

  4. Or it can be clipped to the plug lead of a mower or rideon and left there to keep track of the hours for servicing, could be handy for working out hourly running costs?

  6. Mark, I contacted nearest stockist who said they had to be ordered so delivery would be after xmas. I asked about discount for buying two but there is not a chance as the price is cut to the bone and reading between the lines, they are probably manufactured in china.
  7. I quite fancy one to go behind my Goldoni Quad 20 if they are strong enough, I wonder if there would be a discount for bulk purchase
  8. This looks similar? [ame] [/ame]
  9. N, I think there was an option to down grade if done within 30 days?? If it was left longer and one had made a disk image, would one be able get future win8.1 updates as ms would have it on record that the upgrade had gone past the 30 day petiod?.
  10. If you dont want Ms to have access to files etc, make sure during the install/upgrade you select custom setup and deselect the boxes that give ms permissions. If you turn cortana on this also gives them access. This is why ms is giving it away. https://www.yahoo.com/tech/s/windows-10-spying-almost-everything-opt-130502898.html?nf=1 http://www.designntrend.com/articles/64434/20151110/windows-10-stopped-automatically-spying-users-confirms-microsoft.htm
  11. Are you saying there is no adjustment screw under a plug in the centre of the carb swivel like there is on my echo pole hedge cutter? or there is no external adjuster screw
  12. Did you use the driver tool that expands the insert into the receiving threads which should lock it in? The insert you've used looks wrong to me , Ill show the pic to a mate of mine who is a Wurth rep if I get the chance.
  13. When I was researching 12volt compressors I came across these with a 100% duty cycle but couldn't justify the cost. VIAIR 350C Compressor Silver
  14. Your interpretation of duty cycle is the same as mine, ie, 20% on and 80% off over a 10 minute period so figures in the ad must be wrong or they have a different interpretation of duty cycle to ours.?
  15. I have just looked in the user manual which says: . It should not be used for continuously for more than 30 minutes. After 30 minutes turn off and let it cool for 15 minutes before resuming operation. In my book thats pretty darn good for emergency jobs to get one out of the mire?
  16. Only specs to duty cycle I can find, I have blown up a pair of flat weeks fergie trailer tyres which it did with ease but the cylinder does get hot . Ring 12 Volt RAC900 Heavy Duty Air Compressor - Sheridan Marine

  19. Ive had one of these for a year and its been excellent, didnt get from the link though. 20. If you use the right trap in the right place then I have never found the need for gloves, weathering, etc, in fact when I buy new I use them straight from from the store complete with barcode with the same degree of success.
  21. Ive been catching moles for over 50 years and have never had so many kills since changing to genuine Talpex traps.
  22. +1, I bought my fast tach from him years ago and couldnt fault his service.
  23. If it was running when dunked, the first stage in the cycle of two stroke is to suck through the carb into the crank case so look to see if there is moisture mist coming out of plug hole when you crank it
  24. They were sold out but have relisted some more
