  10. Well I seem to have got one that has slipped through their quallity control. I bought a vision 500 flat top a few weeks ago and got round to fitting it last Wedneday but after 3 small fires noticed that not all was well. There were smoke stains on the glass and body at the top of the door where it was not sealing properly and hinge adjustment would not cure it, it was so bad that a torch placed inside the stove shone a light through when door was closed. I took the door back to the shop who tried it on another stove with the same result so it looks like the door may have too much curvature. I am now waiting for them to contact clearview for a solution and thankful the stove is in a room thats being renovated so dont want heat because of cracking the fresh lime mortar. We now get to see what clearviews customer suport is llike so watch this space !
  11. TBH I have not found a problem other than not seeing the ar$e end with the sides off but on my vehicle I open the tail gate and can see ok. Time spent reversing is so little in relation to that going forward and the ease of towing with something that stays within ones vehicle width, imo, far out way the disadvantages of former.
  12. No trouble so far at council tip but I only use it for my own domestic waste. It is quite small at 7x4, unbraked and as the wheels are under the bed it looks smaller than it is. although the payload is just over 500kgs they are quite well built, the quad tractor sitting on it is 750kgs

  18. I think I would be looking out for a new shaft, when that goes again your man mountain may be brought to ground level with the spike stuck between the eyes .
  19. ended up buying a second hand Goldoni quad with 1.2m flail mower.....what a great bit of kit, finished all my ground and smashed the neighbours steep bramble patch, wish i'd bought one years ago. [ame] [/ame]
