  5. Was the oil tank running out well before all the fuel was used or did the extra work the engine had to do driving the longer chain compensate in that the fuel ran out before the oil? slim

  7. I had a similar problem on one I was working on a couple of years ago, replacing the switches also fixed it and has been trouble free since.
  8. I bought it brand new form a builder who bought a scaffold tower from me. It was a real coincidence,I had been trying to locate one for a long time and when he opened the van to load the scaffold it was in the back so I made him an offer he could not refuse and was worth every penny the spirit level in the pic is 4ft long slim

  10. I' m cracking on towards 70 so weight was the biggest issue for me in going for the smallest model, I have seen the the CS310ES selling for a penny less than 200 quid so must be worth a go if as you say the weight isn't an issue. slim

  15. Thanks for the reply, it was using a shorter bar I was referring to . It may not be the case in practice but it does look as if the rear log,if not cut right through as with a shorter bar, could add pressure to the cut front logs so making their removal difficult or more time consuming? slim
  16. He may be financially better off paying a contractor but mowing his own lawn may reward him in other ways? slim

  20. I got mine over 2 years ago from Smart-Holder Log Holder and Saw Horse. Free UK Delivery There are similar named ones about but not the same quality. If you read the reviews for them,mine is at the bottom so the very first review for one. slim

  23. Looks like, and has same model number as a Lidl florabest saw for which you would get a 3 year warranty if bought from them. Note the ad in the above link spell Husqvarna with a "U" not a "V" slim
  24. Thanks for that, I cant really see why it should be put forward as minus against a properly designed stove + boiler with an output sufficient to run the required number of rads and heat the room its in though. slim
