1. I agree, not a stihl but a great, light little saw. They do have a horrible little plastic screw to hold the carb/filter cover on which snapped off within a week but I have it held on with a trusty cable tie which I cut to clean! gutless in anything over about 6 inches.
2. I've got an old 066 that I use for milling and occasional big jobs but to be honest it spends most of its time in the yard, daily saw is a tired ms341 and wee saw is an old 026 that has never missed a beat. Thinking of replacing the 066 and 341 with a new 441, has anyone milled with a 441 and will it pull the 30" bar off my 066? I only rip boards down once in a while when I come across some nice wood. Cheers
3.
HI MATE YES it is thanks pm me thanks jon

4.
hi Jon. Interested in your dog/toolbox. Is it big enough for a black lab and what is your location for pick up/payment. Cheers Rob

5. Still not sure if it was dawn redwood or swamp cypress but managed to get the bark off with the help of a power washer and milled an old oak sleeper for table top and benches. Not sure what to use the other lump for. Any suggestions welcomed!
6. hi, I have it and it sucks. Drink loads of water. Beer and oatmeal two worst things. Best to get it sorted now before it gets into any major joints. Doc told me its worse than childbirth!! I'm on a tablet called alipurinol which is the dogs......... no attacks since taking it and still supping ale, ask your doctor because this drug purges your body of all sorts of toxins. Good luck, feeling your pain!!
7. could well have been planted as an ornamental which would make sense given the gardens I have been working in, haven't seen many of them in the north lake's!
8. Cheers. shame it had to go, nice to get hold of some different wood to play with though!
9. Cheers. it was an unusual tree. Any ideas? Swamp cypress was my best guess! it's going to be outside anyway but bark on is not an option if it is to pass the wife test! could take some time!
10. have just done some clearance work at a large old estate house and had to fell this. I think it's a swamp cypress but may be wrong. I would like to strip the bark off to use as legs for an outside table, anyone got any ideas on best way without damaging the wood??
11. I still run my old 026 with a 13" bar as my wee saw great saw stay away from the 261 its pish. 341 with a 15" bar is a more balanced saw than 362 and pulls up to 18" nae bother (and cheaper!)
