  1. Isnt there a posibilty that the needle has come out of adjustment, not by moving but by virtue of there being a hard to notice thin coating of gum inside the jet/internal drillings which are restricting the fuel flow??
  2. For wheel bearrings we use simply bearrings
  3. I have been using kerosene and engine oil for years on my blades. For the gears on hedge cutter and strimmers I make a mix of lithium grease and 80/90 gear oil until the mixture has some sag, seems to be doing the job ok as Ive not had one break yet..touch wood!
  4. thanks for the replies so far. I would imagine that the multione would be beyond my budget and as I would need to cut a minimum of 4 times a year I would prefer to buy than rent so again the etesia is out of reach. I have plenty of large machines similar to the fs460 at my disposal but the bracken is mostly 7 feet tall with 3ft of. bramble and bracken litter beneath so would. be too much volume to shift by hand.
  5. when i had my first motorbike Fina 2* was around £1 for 5 gallons , I paid 107 for Derv in Cardiff last week
  6. Does anyone have or use a 4x4 brushcutter like the efco tuareg 92evo . I have just bought a property with 2 acres of bracken thats a bit steep for my kubota B7100 and topper so need something to maintain it once the Asulox has done its job, sprayed in July and now looking pretty sick. Ive seen plenty of tube vids and the like but would welcome input from those who have practical experience of them cheers slim
  7. I predate the charts by more than half a decade:sad:
  8. I really look forward to when this plant is flowering, it has such a wonderful scent that fills the air for quite some distance
  9. Does/should your model have a screen..it looks like the bits have not been held in the chamber for long enough.

  12. I was all packed up complete with full trailer to do one today, got up at 04.15 for a 6am start and it was blowing a gale so went back to bed!
  13. If the two halves are not in line the locking bolts wont fit . Ive found them split when taking them apart and split the odd one myself by tapping a screwdriver in to release the cone off the shaft ....never had a problem refitting them in two bits!
  14. Its what timberwolf specify though
  15. make sure they are c3 spec bearings
  16. We were burning a conifir hedge once when the wind changed, the smoke was so dense on the road the drivers were blowing their horns to let each other know where they were:wink::lol: , was your smoke going accros the road and the complaint came from that?
  17. Lumiweld in more of a braze than a weld in that it permeates the interstices rather than combine with the parent metal so the surface has to be very clean as no flux is involved. I have failed on some alloys in the past as they turn to an ash/coke like substance with the introduction of heat. Have you looked on youtube for this type of product
  18. I only asked about port size because to lumiweld it short tubes to bridge the break would have to be inserted into to keep the molten metal from running into them which could possibly left in or even drilled out if it was a straight run. if it was a straight run steel rods inserted would do the same job and could be twisted out after because lumiweld won't stick to it. Is that another library pic as I cant see a break?
  19. Have you a picture of the actual casting taken from the other side, what diameter are the ports?
  20. I would say it would be difficult, it looks to have fluid transfer ports running through it..could be wrong though?
  21. If thats the old one, whats the problem with it?
  22. this anywhere near?. Robingate landscapes - Tractor Hire
