  2. As I have a 13hp strong engine with electric start on it I was thinking about swapping the engines. What size battery would I need for it to work?

  4. I managed to weld 3 washers to the cover (first time welding) and straightened and tacked a couple of splits on the casing. Just got the broken bit to mend on the engine itself.

  8. I have some one looking at it tomorrow, to see what can be done. Some one else said to weld some washers onto the red fan housing cover to stop the cover moving. It looks like only one fixing has snapped of the engine housing.
  9. I'll put some pics up tomorrow. colne lancashire
  10. I forgot to take some pics today, I will tomorrow and put them up
  11. Hi.......... I have a Powerfab 125 mini digger, with by the looks of the engine its the original one. (the on/off switch is not on the engine like the modern ones) The engine is a Honda G400 13HP. (thats all I know at the moment) I'll try to explain what I need some advise on, if anyone can help. What has happened is the the red fan housing cover (with the recoil starter attached to it) that bolts onto the engine, the threaded parts on the engine have snapped off, so the housing has been strapped in place to run it, to cut a long story short, it decided to chew up the recoil starter yesterday. So I have decided to replace the engine with a modern honda 13HP engine, but before I do, I was wondering is it possible to fix new threaded flanges (?) onto the engine so the red fan housing bolts to it as it should. The existing engine is running perfectly, it just the red fan housing causing the head ache. I hope someone can help richard
