  1. Steve, take it from me as a former marathoner. Be careful about your shin splints. It might be a good idea to break up your training with some biking and some swimming. The shin splints are generally caused from the calf muscles becoming more developed or at a faster rate than the muscles in the front of your leg. In extreme cases stress fractures can and have occurred:thumbdown:. easy-lift guy
  2. Arborwear is the official gear of the easy-lift guy. Fine quality and made to last. easy-lift guy
  3. I think you left out one item from your list. A profit, after all fixed and variable cost have been calculated. easy-lift guy
  4. Happy Birthday to you Sir. And many happy returns:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  5. I second that vote for Bolt. easy-lift guy
  6. I have heard from a satistical stand point the number of medals won by a hosting country usually doubles. I believe that will be the case. The out pouring of support by the fans and games thus far I believe will be a win win for the Olympics and the UK as well. Seems like the USA is doing pretty well so far. I have a new found respect for womens volley ball teams both indoor and outdoor. Also the women's Polo team from the USA, OMG!, talk about being tough. easy-lift guy
  7. Regrettabley it depends on the official and which country they are from, IMHO. Like jammy said. easy-lift guy

  10. Tony, Corruption and kick backs exist everywhere, the fact that you choose to reference the states does not mean we're any better at it, were just a bigger source and or target to shoot for:sneaky2: if you are referring to Exxon-Mobil the Federal government routinely rakes the oil industry over the Coles via lease payments and many other taxes at the State level which I get to pay every time I fill up at the pump:thumbdown:. easy-lift guy
  11. I am catching most of he games ia my DVR. Congrats to Mr. Wiggo. I was somewhat perplexed at the end of his run appearing a bit standoffish looking for certain folks lining either side of the finish area while children were trying to get his autograph?. Just my observation. easy-lift guy
  12. Looks like wet feet. This to shall pass. easy-lift guy
  13. Tragically I suspect that the child already knows what daddy does. As the expression go's the fruit does not fall far from the tree:thumbdown: easy-lift guy
  14. Beautiful, keep em coming! easy-lift guy
  15. Sometimes it is better for the customer to make your life easier even if it cost them more at the end of the job instead of the beginning:sneaky2: You can think to yourself see I told you so and really feel good about it. easy-lift guy
  16. Luke, I would not be to certain of that. I have heard reports that due the cost of putting on the games, ect that there is a very good chance that future games may be held in 6 different locations on a rotating basis. That makes sence since I believe some country's that have hosted in the past will not be able to afford in the future ever again. easy-lift guy
  17. That splitting maul is a very unique design. Never seen one stateside, Paul Bunyan approved I am sure! easy-lift guy
  18. Martyn, I will never again doubt or Second guess the abilities of the Swiss and Japanese Army knifes, Silky saws. Really impressive. easy-lift guy
  19. Good story, I am sure they will get so much more than they had bargin for. easy-lift guy

  22. It couldn't be that hard to mount a set of pontoons on either side:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  23. Dean your way over the edge!, I thought I was the only person that could be slammed with work and do like things:sneaky2: easy-lift guy
  24. I like OD large! easy-lift guy
  25. Sad story, horrible ending. Matt I am trying to figure out why such an area is not closed to the public due to the inherent day to day risk. I would think the whole area be condemned or reduced in one way or another to prevent history from repeating it's self. easy-lift guy
