  2. Protecting your commodity for future resale is not daft, it called being proactive and I like the idea! easy-lift guy
  3. Agreed, I suggested this over a year ago and either the manufactures are lazy or complicit in regards to this on going situation. The need to properly ID each piece of equipment being sold and brought in for repair and released after repair is long over due. I suspect it will be up to the dealers to handle the matter as best they can. Justin, I have specific counter measures to consider if you wish, please pm me if you want to hear me out. easy-lift guy
  4. He did say he was sorry! easy-lift guy
  5. Seems to be Italian?, where it is made is another story?? easy-lift guy
  6. Keep your powder dry silky fox, more to come and so much more never reported, caught or prosecuted:thumbdown::thumbdown: easy-lift guy
  7. This situation is the price many pay for new technology, particularly when land lines become fewer and fewer every day. It is only natural for the con artist to take advantage of this situation. It always helps to have a land line if for no other reason than to field calls and to a lesser extent text messages. easy-lift guy
  8. Preety much all over this high preassure ridge over the mid section of the country is really hammering the bulk of the country. If your headed to the NE or Mid-West be ready for a dry heat, if your head my neck of the woods it will be a Moist heat with High Humidity. West and South west just plain on fire:sneaky2: If your headed to the Sunshine State PM me, will get together, O and bring or buy some Sun Screen, You will defo need it:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  9. Yep your right Rob, the Poor Northerners are really having a bad time with the heat Here in the Sunshine State it is business as usuall, we have plenty of excess heat ATM so I will try to forward some better weather your way ASAP. easy-lift guy
  10. Thanks, will be posting in tomorrows mail. As always my pleasure. easy-lift guy
  11. Congratulations. PM me your mailing address and I shall send you a Topsaw all in one tool for your 1000th post. easy-lift guy
  12. Czlowiek, I believe what likeitorlumpit means is that you have a good thing going ATM and cutting out not cutting up your supplier for sub work may not be a good idea? You can be the only judge of that if it works for you. If your decision is worth the risk, its yours to make. I am sure you have done your homework and have determined going direct is better for you? easy-lift guy
  13. The fact of the matter and to your credit and everyone else's replies to this thread for the most part, We as a industry Don't give up. Everyone sooner or later has one of them days or week or months, where a series of events come around and create a perfect storm of sorts. Andy, your right about your health without it one really has nothing. I have been blessed and have had good health and a good working life. I only have about 1/2 the buying power of what I had 20 years ago, yet I am greatful and stilling doing my best to serve my customers. easy-lift guy
  14. Considering the likely weather at any given time in the UK, has this show or others like it ever been consided for a indoor venue?. I understand that some aspects would have to be adjusted for walking tours and such. With present day video and audio capabilities I wonder why this has not been used in the past?. Has it been a money issue or a rules and regs issue?. Here state side many shows for either ISA or TCIA are mainly indoors to accommodate the vendors and visitors. Climbing competition are even held indoors as well along with demos of equipment and kit, within reason. Just wondering. Other thoughts or observations welcomed. easy- lift guy
  15. Steve, you better watch it now the meter is running and I think your not going to get off with a discount:sneaky2: Have a nice weekend. easy-lift guy
  16. Hey Jon: which Williams sister was that? If it was the one that has a mouth on her and says threading remarks to the judges, she lost any respect from me and many other tennis fans. US tennis fans had enough with Mackenrow making a fool out of himself when he thought he was top banana. easy-lift guy
  17. It seems to be a matter of principle on the part of Czlowiek that is the bone of contention?. I believe since you presently have work as a sub-contractor you will carry on as is, for now. You may not like your present relationship and in time you will change that situation. Of course many folks don't have work on both sides of the pond. Nothing better than having more work, how one manages afterwards is the real trick! easy-lift guy
  18. It can make a difference if it is required and you don't have it:sneaky2: easy-lift guy
  19. I second that. easy-lift guy
  20. Looks great to me. Your vendor F R Jones came through with flying colors. easy-lift guy
  21. I have never purchased a climbing harness., that being said and you sound stuck ATM, consider trying a cup for protection sake? easy-lift guy
  22. With Hurricane season from June-November most tree services here in Florida offer 24 hour emergency service. The rates are usually double normal hourly rate +. In 2004 we had hurricane Charlie hit just 30 mins south of my home. By the time the season ended we had 3 more hurricanes hit the state that year. The shear volume of debris to remove from Charlotte county alone was increditable. Plenty of work for over a year afterwards with tree company's from all over the country descending upon the sunshine state. We needed every one of them. If it is worth it to you for a 24 hour service, I say go for it. Over here it is more than a money making project, it is a Necessity! easy-lift guy
  23. Your suggestion is spot on. With all the stolen Kit I have seen posted it is double trouble when the missing items may be missing due to personnel. Follow through, I hope you get to the bottom of this soon. easy-lift guy
  24. Your enthusiasm and confidence level is to be commended. Congrats on completion of all your schooling, sounds like you will be a wise investment for the forward looking firm to secure. easy-lift guy
  25. Eastern Europe and China for starters, the balance ends up as reserve stock for back orders:sneaky2: Really not ment to be a joke. Just curious was your kit lifted via a breaking and entering or by some other means? easy-lift guy
