  1. 8 weeks old and she has you wrapped around her little finger:001_rolleyes:. I have heard of getting a head start on the little ones helping to raise and care for the parents, your daughter really takes the cake! All the best. easy-lift guy
  2. Mattplace, I believe you already have found your Girl Friday, having your wife on board with the day to day opperations is a Capital idea IMO. All the best with the next generation. easy-lift guy
  3. Not sure, but I would give that one a particularly wide berth:sneaky2:. He is a biggem! easy-lift guy
  4. Although technology is fantastic these days I believe you need to secure someone part time to handle the day to day office affairs. Think of this suggestion as an investment to run your business more effectively and efficiently. Being able to delegate authority is not always easy and trusting and depending on your "Girl Friday" type person may seem difficult at first, however the peace of mind you will acheive in time beats being worried about this or that. easy-lift guy
  5. To my knowledge all spiders a venomous. How one reacts to being bitten and treatment after the fact is the key to a successful or less than successful outcome:sneaky2:. As suggested watch out for more since they seldome travel alone. easy-lift guy
  6. I posted a thread called means and methods of protecting your kit from theft. I believe you will find the information very helpful:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  7. Customers are goofy about things like your situation. I am sure you will sell the item in time, of course the meter is still running and I don't blame you about wanting to bang your head against the wall. Take a non refundable deposit for the future and move forward, this to shall pass. easy-lift guy
  8. That is just a baby, we have twice as big over here. easy-lift guy
  9. I think it could of been better with the actual weapons from the movies, I bet you could of sent a picture to Stan Lee and gotten a signed autograph picture back from One creator to another!. Pretty neat otherwise. easy-lift guy
  10. Gnarlyoak,Derek: Our local, county, state, and federal or national governments run like this. The local or city/town government generally has a budget to work with every physical year to take care of day to day opperations such as Fire, Police, and ambulance services. These funds are collected and in most cases are required to only run or operate with the monies available. Most local, county and State governments at least here in Florida are required to have a blanced budget in order to function. With the down turn of the National economy starting in 2007 under GWB 43 forward to the present tenant of 1600 Pennsilvania Ave. I have seen the near utter destruction and nationalization of at least 6 private sectorindustries in this country. Unlike local, county and some but not all state budgets that have to live within their means the Federal or National government, at least the present one in power has knowingly choose to continue to print and digitized the US currency nearly into oblivion. The desire to continue to do this beyond the point of no return or recovery is staggering, to say the least. For my local county situation I am presently paying roughly 1/2 of what I was paying say 4 years ago in property taxes. This is mainly due to the collapse of the housing and construction industry in this state. Funding is down across the board and all levels excluding the federal level., since they think they can print currency with no regards to the short term results. The long term results are for another discussion. I am very fortunate to live where I do and living within my means has been my way of life and doing business since I first started work. Alas this is not the case with many other of my country men/women that have chosent the dependency route. It has not gotten so bad in my state where the private sector has had to come in and help the local governments, but in some cases it is better and less costly than depending on the government employees to accomplish the same task. The folks that want another bucket of chicken or another hamburger will always complain and moan about this or that. They are this countries biggest looses and work very hard to game the system to their own needs 24/7 365 x multiple generations. Hope this answered some of your thoughts from the other side of the pond. easy-lift guy
  11. The warranty should have been in writing when you purchased the engine in the first place?. Do you have your original paper work or a bill of sale? easy-lift guy
  12. Any time any governing body can save the tax payers funds by converting raw material into a finished product makes sence to me, as long as it is not squandered or abused. TBH though I am still pulling for the Private sector first and fore most:thumbup1:
  13. Thanks, your further explanation means a great deal to me and my understanding of the matter. I may have to set my alarm for tomorrow morning to keep from over sleeping thanks to your reply:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  14. It is not bothering me so much as I am really trying to understand your system of economics. Although I share a common language and culture with the people of the UK, I am not trying to wind any one up per say. Just trying to understand how things work in your country. In this country this matter would be considered a racket, and in some cases probably illegal as well:. BTW, I really sleep well at night, of course I value as many opinions as possible:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  15. Martyn, I would have never known, Steves abilities are incredible to say the least:lol: easy-lift guy
  16. So I guess as long as funds are coming in to help off set the cost of producing a finish product on behalf of the CC every thing else is just grand. Thanks for the explanation, makes sence now, sorta. easy-lift guy
  17. How does it go back into the system?. Do the tax payers receive a rebate for goods sold to the public or is the transaction just a wash? easy-lift guy
  18. I have to admit that the county council using tax payer funds to perform what the private sector could do is one thing. Now I read where a CC is offering firewood for sale which is heavily subsidized by the tax payers only to be purchased by same tax payers? Over here that would be called a racket. I understand this may be business as usuall and putting folks to work to shore up employment roles. Seems like another ail in the coffin for private industry and free enterprise. Really only my opinion, sure would like some feed back on this one from the folks in country. easy-lift guy
  19. Are you referring to the Kevlar brand umbrellas:sneaky2:. Very impressive structure. Will be curious to see if anyone has done a time laps history of the construction? easy-lift guy
  20. Treequip, OMG!. That was very funny at 4:36 in the morning EST. I suspect I will need to secure a can for display at the ELH Museum,. Thanks for sharing. Silky fox, I will not be holing my breath on any royalty checks in the mail any time soon. All the best. easy-lift guy
  21. I saw similar examples of like products, there is only One Easy-Lift Harness. Sometimes imitated, never duplicated. easy-lift guy
  22. Folks with a lot more £££££'s than brains:001_huh:. Same over here, I suspect they have their price and regardless of the current market value will ask what ever they can in return. Makes no $ence, of course no requirement for that in the first place. easy-lift guy
  23. Mick this is true to a point. Your resting heart reat sounds good:thumbup1: Other factors to consider would include overall health, diet, and sleep paterns and general stress levels. easy-lift guy
  24. Take it easy none the less, don't want to see you on crutches. Make sure your shoes are in good shape and stretch before and after your workouts. easy-lift guy
  25. It is a pity that batteries are not what they use to be!. The quality and the actual number of lead plates compared to a battery of say 10 or 20 years ago is long gone. Glad that the Horse flyes and general frustration didn't get the better of you! easy-lift guy
