  4. Simple ifor all the way Brian James and Bateson are utter rubbish all right for folk that don't work um hard. Have an 18ft tri axel ifor that's 3 years old with about 30,000 mile on it and apart from tyres that's it broke a Bateson in 2 at less than 12 months old! Well that's my humble opinion!
  5. There's only one tyre to put on a defender and that a BFG and that's that!! Super ware super grip and really good ply rating on my second set last ones had 70,000 miles on um an they were still legal Love um
  6. IF your out side welding get a stick set but if your inside get a mig far more forgiving for beginners and if u can avoide single phase sets they are usless on anything over about 1/4" also some agri techs run basic welding courses well worth doing am loyds coded in mma tig and mig and have seen some really good looking welds fail so well worth doing a basic course good luck!!
  7. Hi Jon sounds like they've been unluky then me mates 2 are both 4 potters and have been bomb proof! would be very interested to see the report on the engine if that poss? most of the fendts/tractors ive ever had engine issues with have belonged to contractors running tractors with power chips on and young lads that dont give a f**ck about the kit. Hope he gets it sorted but fendt are realy good with warrenty work they dont like um braking down!!
  8. 13. Hi might already have been asked but do u move the chip with the mog or just simpley for running the chipper? if simply for running the chipper then you have no problems but if you were moving the chip then you would need an o licence and a tacho! if you want it clarifing further contact your local NFU rep and ask they have always advised us in the past and when we had an acident with one of the tractors on the road they backed us in cort hope this helps!:001:thumbup:
