  1. We have an expression here in this country, perhaps you may have heard of it "follow the money". Ask yourself, what do Mr. Armstrong's accusers have to gain by accusing him of something that has not been proven?. Interviews, Books, Movie rights. Translation: $$$$ for the accusers and the people supporting the down fall of this person. Scot, what I don't think you know is that if enough evidence actually existed against this person much less any other athlete the test given would have proved guilt long ago. How much of your fame and fortune would you be willing to spend to prove your innocents?. I suspect very little. Mr. Armstrong made a "business decision" and decided that even with the sponsorship he still has in tact with Nike, and I believe Budweiser, it is better to pack it in and move forward. One can remain in a holding pattern for only so long. Until any actual proof can be produced to prove the allegations against Mr. Armstrong, I refuse to have a guilty sentence passed against him in the court of public approval or in this case disapproval. easy-lift guy
  2. Thanks, the link proves my point. It was a business decision to not fight against this group since nothing was never found in his system, and if anything had been found it would have been accounted for a long time ago. easy-lift guy
  3. Just curious if you have any proof of cheating by Mr. Armstrong, or are you basing your opinion on people claiming to have seen someone do something when after every race or competition the results came back negative for illegal drugs or banned substances in his system:sneaky2: Please tell me something that supports the claims against Mr. Armstrong other than rumors and statements made but not admissible as evidence against him? easy-lift guy
  4. He shall be surely missed. A pioneer for Space Exploration with out a doubt! easy-lift guy
  5. Here say and private testing organizations with agenda's can and will wear anyone down over time. I believe Mr. Armstrongs decision was based more from a monitary stanpoint and the principle of the thing just cost to much to maintain in the end. Since no actuall proof other than hearsay condemmed this person, it is a sad thing IMO. easy-lift guy
  6. As a ground dweller, I have seen many folks both climbers and the like get hurt in the field by not having the proper attire to protect them selfs. One only has to slip or loose ones balance once or have a log crush ones toes to understand why an ounce of protection is worth a pound of cure. easy-lift guy

  10. Perhaps, waiting on the 5:00AM update for today. It may only be a rain maker for us since I am located on the eastern side of the storm based on the current track. It is a really big system at over 1000 miles in diameter!. Even with some shearing over Cuba I believe it could prove to be a very strong system to deal with. No matter, I have my 3 week supply of food and water on hand along with an assortment of saws and fuel at the ready:thumbup1:. See you at the show. easy-lift guy
  11. Thanks Dean, I have been told that the steering wheel is the Right hand side of the cars as well. A question. I have decided to down load an app for my phone by Tom Tom for Navigational/Inspirational purposes. Any suggestions on navigational devices while in country?. The Tom Tom device is loaded with maps for the UK, Ireland and Scotland. I have also requested a set of training wheels for the car as well, just in case I drift over into the opposite lane of traffic:sneaky2: easy-lift guy

  20. By and large I believe Providence has had an incredible affect on my life. I have always wanted to work smarter instead of harder and I feel very good about the products I have invented and marketed around the world. I have for the most part always been up for a good challenge and I find being a member of Arbtalk to be very stimulating with like minded colleagues in this industry. Good thread, Tony. easy-lift guy
