  1. I have to admit that the county council using tax payer funds to perform what the private sector could do is one thing. Now I read where a CC is offering firewood for sale which is heavily subsidized by the tax payers only to be purchased by same tax payers? Over here that would be called a racket. I understand this may be business as usuall and putting folks to work to shore up employment roles. Seems like another ail in the coffin for private industry and free enterprise. Really only my opinion, sure would like some feed back on this one from the folks in country. easy-lift guy
  2. Are you referring to the Kevlar brand umbrellas:sneaky2:. Very impressive structure. Will be curious to see if anyone has done a time laps history of the construction? easy-lift guy
  3. Treequip, OMG!. That was very funny at 4:36 in the morning EST. I suspect I will need to secure a can for display at the ELH Museum,. Thanks for sharing. Silky fox, I will not be holing my breath on any royalty checks in the mail any time soon. All the best. easy-lift guy
  4. I saw similar examples of like products, there is only One Easy-Lift Harness. Sometimes imitated, never duplicated. easy-lift guy
  5. Folks with a lot more £££££'s than brains:001_huh:. Same over here, I suspect they have their price and regardless of the current market value will ask what ever they can in return. Makes no $ence, of course no requirement for that in the first place. easy-lift guy
  6. Mick this is true to a point. Your resting heart reat sounds good:thumbup1: Other factors to consider would include overall health, diet, and sleep paterns and general stress levels. easy-lift guy
  7. Take it easy none the less, don't want to see you on crutches. Make sure your shoes are in good shape and stretch before and after your workouts. easy-lift guy
  8. It is a pity that batteries are not what they use to be!. The quality and the actual number of lead plates compared to a battery of say 10 or 20 years ago is long gone. Glad that the Horse flyes and general frustration didn't get the better of you! easy-lift guy
  9. Steve, take it from me as a former marathoner. Be careful about your shin splints. It might be a good idea to break up your training with some biking and some swimming. The shin splints are generally caused from the calf muscles becoming more developed or at a faster rate than the muscles in the front of your leg. In extreme cases stress fractures can and have occurred:thumbdown:. easy-lift guy
  10. Arborwear is the official gear of the easy-lift guy. Fine quality and made to last. easy-lift guy
  11. I think you left out one item from your list. A profit, after all fixed and variable cost have been calculated. easy-lift guy
  12. Happy Birthday to you Sir. And many happy returns:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  13. I second that vote for Bolt. easy-lift guy
  14. I have heard from a satistical stand point the number of medals won by a hosting country usually doubles. I believe that will be the case. The out pouring of support by the fans and games thus far I believe will be a win win for the Olympics and the UK as well. Seems like the USA is doing pretty well so far. I have a new found respect for womens volley ball teams both indoor and outdoor. Also the women's Polo team from the USA, OMG!, talk about being tough. easy-lift guy
  15. Regrettabley it depends on the official and which country they are from, IMHO. Like jammy said. easy-lift guy
  16. Very nice Rig. I wish you, All the best! easy-lift guy
  17. My pleasure, enjoy in good health and work!. easy-lift guy
  18. Tony, Corruption and kick backs exist everywhere, the fact that you choose to reference the states does not mean we're any better at it, were just a bigger source and or target to shoot for:sneaky2: if you are referring to Exxon-Mobil the Federal government routinely rakes the oil industry over the Coles via lease payments and many other taxes at the State level which I get to pay every time I fill up at the pump:thumbdown:. easy-lift guy
  19. I am catching most of he games ia my DVR. Congrats to Mr. Wiggo. I was somewhat perplexed at the end of his run appearing a bit standoffish looking for certain folks lining either side of the finish area while children were trying to get his autograph?. Just my observation. easy-lift guy
  20. Looks like wet feet. This to shall pass. easy-lift guy
  21. Tragically I suspect that the child already knows what daddy does. As the expression go's the fruit does not fall far from the tree:thumbdown: easy-lift guy
  22. Beautiful, keep em coming! easy-lift guy
  23. Sometimes it is better for the customer to make your life easier even if it cost them more at the end of the job instead of the beginning:sneaky2: You can think to yourself see I told you so and really feel good about it. easy-lift guy
  24. Luke, I would not be to certain of that. I have heard reports that due the cost of putting on the games, ect that there is a very good chance that future games may be held in 6 different locations on a rotating basis. That makes sence since I believe some country's that have hosted in the past will not be able to afford in the future ever again. easy-lift guy
  25. That splitting maul is a very unique design. Never seen one stateside, Paul Bunyan approved I am sure! easy-lift guy
