  1. Funny thing about the past and I recon how much one can learn from it. As stated earlier with DNA cases just recently here in the states a vile of blood from one of the most prolific killers here in Florida was located, his name was Ted Bundy. Mr Bundy was tried and convicted of murder although it may never be known how many persons this man killed he was tried by a jury of his peers and found guilty and did die by Capital Punishment. At the time DNA evidence did not exist yet he was found guilty and with this new find of evidence I am sure that more victims of this monster will be found and more justice will have been served by Science. Although I am not sure if there has been any cases lost due to the science of DNA evidence, I am sure more people in the future will be found not guilty and many more will be found guilty and punished accordingly. Call it a modern day version of and eye for an eye, and let justice be served. elg
  2. Happening here miscarriage of justice taking place and reported on the news mainly DNA cases, that being said I for one of many believe the death penalty is warranted. Further more as more and more violent crimes take place in the UK and in Europe in general the death penalty will return. IMO when my family or friends human rights are violated or taken away, turn about is fair play. elg
  3. Could of been part of a scavenger hunt game or the like. elg
  4. Looks like a real bargin, I do not think I could make something the same size for the price. Go for it! elg
  5. Without any way of knowing much about anything for sale on ebay IMO never buy any Kit from ebay. There are far to many "what if's" and the only certain thing is you will get what you payed for on ebay and chances are you will not be happy. Only buy from someone or some company that you know! Stop the cycle of buying and selling "what if" items! elg
  6. Happy for you sir. Take care and stay smoke free, live long and continue to prosper. elg
  7. Treeworld, perhaps DN 22's time was better spent doing more important things. Since time is one resource that is never renewable I think the point is that dealers should treat their customers as they wish to be treated. If it is the same brand product, all dealers must understand that they are all in business together to increase their business! The harder the dealer make's doing business the faster that dealer will be finding something else to do for work. elg
  8. DN 22 you were correct and the Sthil dealer was not only wrong but had a chip on his shoulder as well. The same problems exist here in the states and there is no reason for it at all. Some dealers do not care about their customers even before they walk into their store much less service after the sale. This attitude usually hurts the customer more and the industry as a whole. IMO if one has a warranty problem regardless of where it was purchased the issue must be resolved asap and the customer must be left whole and leaving with the knowledge that the business relationship is still on firm ground. Regardless as to where your product was purchased from, the dealer has the obligation from the manufacturer to take care of the customer first. As a manufacturer I live by this creed. elg
  9. Great Job, looking forward to your next installment. elg.
  10. Not sure about the size area your looking to plant in here in the states we have a Drake Elm or Weeping elm, not sure if available in your local. Med. growth rate and is well trainable mature size 7 to 10 " caliper and 20 to 30' spread, nice for shade. elg
  11. Here in the states I like Corona pruners or "secateurs". My Corona's do not gum up on me like felcos do and the cost is about the same. elg
  12. Welcome barry, Wishing you the best! elg
  13. Wow lot's of good comment's regarding the very first thread I have read where the punishment at least this time fit the crime. I would have loved the chance to crush the transport myself. As for the malcontents that have any sort of sympathy for the folks caught in the act and having there means of transport crushed TOO BAD!!!!!, Have a Great Weekend, mind just got a whole lot better!!!!!. elg
  14. I actually heard two weeks ago someone during a radio interview from Chicago, Illinois. USA " There should be a law against having to walk outside when it is so hot outside". Of course this person was from Chicago, and she was in my humble opinion very serious, "Seriously Stupid", that is. elg
  15. Although I did not see this video in question, I will not tolerate any cruelty for animals in general and dog and cats in particular. I am sure this sort of madness exist here in the states as well and I can't really say what would happen to the perp on this site if I caught them going after an animal. Let's say the animal would not be suffering any more torment from such a person again and leave it at that. elg
  16. RIP Major Winters, My eternal thanks from but a few of my generation that truly are thankful for everything your band of brothers accomplished. A rosary will be said in your honor. elg
  17. Hey Frankie we have one up on yin's we have Life, Taxes, death and Death Taxes! elg
  18. go 50:1 better to smoke a little than burn a lot. elg
  19. Toprotter, I commend your effort. I believe you will be successful. Might I suggest sitting down and roughly calculate how much $$$ you will save from not smoking and start a fund. Use this for what ever you wish other than going back to smoking, and really enjoy yourself. By making this decision you will be starting a long and difficult journey, but you will adapt and overcome. This is the first 1.5 days + or - of the rest of your smoke free life. All the best. elg
  20. Kev is right also same standard here in the states. What you can claim for loss wages is interesting. I have served and also been called back on 3 different cases, last 3 I got out of it for one reason or another. elg.
  21. Not much more than an hour out and back, had to do more with my work load for any given week. Traffic, weather, and really bad drivers discourage much more travel than that. elg
