  1. Thanks Al How's your Latin these days for the inscription at the bottom? elg
  2. Just wondering if anyone could identify this coat. Thanks, elg
  3. Really nice picture of Ed/Lee struggling with a big log. My question is WHY?. I would have used a pick ax or sledge hammer to at least reduce some of the weight of the log???, or was it needed for the full struggling effect?. elg
  4. Congrats, nice rigging and pics in general order. Job well done! elg
  5. Computer boiler room call centers, we have loads of them here. We also have state and national do not call list. Bit of a pain, really glad I have caller ID. Pity I have to be held hostage by my own phone service. If you do have caller ID and you can't ID the number just let it ring or go to the answering machine. Works for me. elg
  6. Some school Districts here in the states also ban other such sports like Dodge ball, Kick ball, Tag, etc. I don't think our OSHA has so much to do with it but the School Boards and Districts either don't want to be bothered because of Cost/Liability or because the sport is no longer PC, the latter infuriates me to no end. Just another generation of Cry Babies for the Government to coddle. BTW the sports are not dangerous, the teachers don't want the kids to learn about competition and sportsmanship. elg
  7. Members will have to continue to stay ahead of the crooks, I commend you Rob for exercising common sense and a pro-active approach to protecting your kit. The little things do matter, make a difference. elg
  8. May God rest her soul and comfort her family in this particular time of need. She and her family will be in my prayers tonight. elg
  9. Double Wow!!, please update this thread, esp after the court date. elg
  10. Skyhuck, your not being rude and I am stating the obvious for a simple fact that out of Hundreds of post sooner or later Members have to learn from their mistakes. In the real world additional precautions like leaving someone posted untill all kit is brought to the job site and never left unattended are critical when protecting your kit. Call it real world common sence. elg
  11. Sounds like you will be in the market for your own insurance coverage for your kit. elg
  12. No one will be excused from not protecting their kit. I have heard read the same type of post a Hundred times if I read it once. The theifs are constantly looking for a easy mark, don't let the theifs get your kit. I would love to come over and catch some of these folks lifting all this kit, boy could I make an example of them if they were lucky enough to remember their names by the time I got done. elg
  13. NEVER LEAVE ANY KIT UNATTENDED FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME, AT ALL, NEVER NEVER NEVER!!!, Try reading my thread on means and methods of protecting your Kit from theft, it may help in the future. elg
  14. I have seen persons male/female like this at trade shows through out the States and kinda of considered the local color and that some folks don't get out to much. Now these same people are creating videos and posting them on line. Now I know where some of the really weird suggestions for uses for products are derived from!. Just go's to show you what will happen with way to much time on your hands and too much sweet tea. elg

  17. My choice would be Two different brands, HI-TEC ankle high boots/steel toed, water proof. Relatively comfortable. Available at Bass Pro shops, cost $60.00 Second choice Merrell, MESA Ventilator II. Very comfortable, I believe better for climbing or longer periods on you feet. Available at DSW.com cost $86.00. I use both for demo work and video shoots as well as trade shows for many hours while standing on that really nice hard Concrete floor! Works well for me! Good Boot Hunting! elg
  18. My Clients/Customers. elg

  21. Mike you are dead on, that is why I referred to the dogs as his partner. elg
  22. I am certain that your routines on a day to day basis are being closely monitored by the Watchers who in turn are forwarding intel to the thieves. Break up your routines at once and always have someone with the kit. Never leave it out of reach. I know this sounds rather insane but I have determined that all of the kit being stolen can not and should not ever be taken for granted. Your candor is to be commended now go and protect your kit and read my thread means and methods for protecting your kit. All the best. elg
  23. No excuses, here in the states it is a crime , esp here in Florida gets to hot to fast. Law enforcement should have more respect for their partners on the job. elg

  25. Always keep your kit with you, When ever you take a break or have lunch someone must always be with your kit, no exceptions. someone is always watching for the easy mark. Don't let this scum continue to have it's way with your business. elg
