  1. Once again it go's back to involvement on the part of the teachers and parents. I hope that the turn out for tonights meeting is large and emotions are kept at a mininum. Bring up your grivenance in an orderly mannor and let the parents voices be heard. It will better help the school deal with the issues. easy-lift guy.
  2. The root system will generally follow the path of least resistance. The tree will not work any harder than it has to for it's food/water. Save yourself the heart ake and remove the trees while it is still easy and cheaper than a new septic tank/drainfield. easy-lift guy.
  3. The root system on your trees will be 3 times the canopy diameter. If the root system is in your soak away , "drain field" here in the states it will not take long for root system to make it's way to the tank proper, Better take out the trees before this problem becomes out of control. Good Flushing. easy-lift guy
  4. Visit my thread means and methods of protecting your kit from theft. Logs would be included. Good hunting, watch your back. easy-lift guy
  5. I would need to see the No Jewelery policy in writing. If it exist, I believe the student could have been addresses in private by the teacher and that would have been the end of it. If no such policy exist I would demand an apology from the teacher/principle. IMO punching any teacher in the face will not help the problem, there is far to much student on teacher violence in this country. Involving yourself with your local PTA and or school board to change such rules are what is needed. Take care, watch your back.easy-lift guy:thumbup1:
  6. It must have been that fine print I did not notice. It is telescopic helps even more when watching the video. elg
  7. How is it stowed, when not in use? elg
  8. Thanks Nigel, may look to securing a set around these parts. easy-lift guy
  9. Hard to believe a year has passed that quick and Andy was wondering how he was going to move that big tree, which he did!. The Easy-Lift Harness will be available for viewing and trying on at this show as well. Look for Overton UK's Booth you will see the likes of Stuart or maybe Guy Overton. Tell em Ted from the States say's Hi. All the best and have a great show. easy-lift guy
  10. Thanks grumpy, that explains a lot, variations included. elg
  11. Mesterh, 100% is good enough for me. Tough enough to say your sorry much less go back in time. My TARDIS is in the shop ATM. easy-lift guy
  12. Sorry soc, I understand where your coming from, just seems like to many people willing to work and not earn a profit. easy-lift guy
  13. Happy ending for your hospital tree story. He would have been sacked if on my payroll. Gross incompetence is far to expensive to maintain when running a business. easy-lift guy
  14. So if you get 60% of your jobs you bid on and you have all of your fixed and variable cost covered and you still have no profit left for yourself at the end of the work week is that really healthy or do you most people like to work for nothing? easy-lift guy
  15. "healthy ratio" What does that mean?, would a unhealthy ratio be 30% or would it only be 1/2 as healthy as a healthy ratio. Please explain, if you can? easy-lift guy
  16. I hope that the best they could do would be to Sack the person or persons responsible for such an act. easy-lift guy
  17. Grumpy, I am curious how you came to that amount with out knowing about any fixed or variable cost associated with ptrinder day to day business operations? easy-lift guy
  18. Holy case of the wrong job at the wrong place Batman. That elderly couple must have been devastated. How do you restore what has been destroyed by such an act of incompetence? easy-lift guy
  19. If you are getting 90% of your bid's, one of Two things are occurring. Your working for your customers and your help. Or your covering your expenses and have little or nothing left for yourself at the end of your work week?. If after all of you fixed and variable cost are met and you have actual PROFIT to call your own at the end of the work week, that's great!, other wise sit down and review all of your cost/expenses. You may be surprised how much you actually net every week after your expenses. Good hunting. easy-lift guy.
  20. Don't feel so bad it is just as bad on the other side of the pond. I will attend trade shows and have folks come by my booth and say they are really interested in my products and when I get back to the office and give the inquire a call back or email say within Two weeks after the event, it like who are you? and why are you bothering me??. I politely remind them about the product and their apparent interest at the time of the show, some remember some have real short term memories. Same with my suppliers for raw materials to make finish product. I believe many employers and companies around the world are having similar problems with under qualified staff to save money and cut back on expenses. It's not pretty but we have to do the best we can to keep our customers happy and content. easy-lift guy
  21. Interesting , I shall have to post my snoring cat first chance I get. easy-lift guy.
  22. Graham, You sir are Spot On!, I could not agree with you more and the corn lobby here in the states is doing all it can to not lose their business for the sake of the rest of the country picking up the tab. I hope the people of the UK don't fall for the con game that many here in the States did only so that the corn producers could line there pockets with cash. easy-lift guy
  23. Is it available with a voice activated feature as well as push to talk? easy-lift guy
  24. Folks, stick with real Diesel. Don't waste your time and money trying to make it yourself. I know of people here in the states with less than happy results, usual results include but are not limited to the following: clogged injectors, moisture build-up in fuel lines, and tank.trouble starting, and rough running. Since the adding of Ethanol to petrol fuel mixtures of up to 10% the amount of damage to Two/Four cycle equipment has run into the Millions if not Billions of Dollars nation wide. I will never understand why a country as blessed with the natural resources we have could ever want or need to use food stocks for fuel needs. Don't fall for it, unless you don't mind stepping in at the same time. easy-lift guy
  25. I always keep a package of Depends with me just incase I need to check my britches. easy-lift guy
