  1. Easy-Lift Harness has just been reported on by HSE. http://webcommunities.hse.gov.uk/connect.ti/agimages/viewpicture?pictureid=85837&albumid=5516&sort=createcommonname&dir=asc&startrow=1&trim=Y&layout=S&search Take a look, see for yourself and than decide. "working smarter is always better than harder." All the best easy-lift guy
  2. Sounds like Cash for clunkers we had here in the states Two years ago. Another waste of Tax payers funds. I am with treequip sell your own ladder and pocket the funds for yourself. easy-lift guy
  3. Nicely done, Pictures were well taken/vivid. Balance of the site very user friendly. Thanks for sharing. All the best. easy-lift guy
  4. Wow, I am stunned!. God rest their souls and comfort their families. easy-lift guy
  5. Common vandals looking for something really stupid to do. I am still trying to figure out how do you chop down a tree with a chain saw?. Anyone please advise. easy-lift guy
  6. Martyn1, good to hear the update. Other than all of the other advise previously posted I can also mention with repeat customers and terms I have had to establish. I have read with some interest that some customers are carried for months at a time with no payment forth coming. This is not acceptable. Usually I have a 3 strikes and your given a field promotion for your new terms. I explain that due to the customers payment history their new terms are prepay. Of course I take the major credit cards for their convenience. I really try not to get angry since it is only business. Funny thing is regardless how sad their previous stories were they pay and I release product. easy-lift guy
  7. John, I concure. I beleive that ArbTalk has grown enough to have at least one Annual convention. Like any other good idea it will take alot of planning and I believe it can and should be done with a membership as large as ArbTalk. easy-lift guy
  8. Really sorry to hear the news, any idea how this happen?, was the owner insured?, I hope. Once the owner get's back on his feet I believe you will get back to job you really like. easy-lift guy
  9. Old style Otter box cases for my 3GS were no good and phone kept falling out. New case much better for my 3GS and still using after 6 months, guess the fixed the design problems. easy-lift guy
  10. I believe the need to refresh members memories is important. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. There are many that are not aware of the thread so I believe there is a need to continue to make members aware of how they can protect their kit. Rubbing salt in the wound is not my intention. Keeping people informed and working pro actively is my main goal. Some folks take longer to learn than others, the thieves are counting on being complacent and are very keen about monitoring coming's and goings. easy-lift guy
  11. Since you have been more than reasonable with this customer regarding terms for services rendered, take them to court. Do not belabor the point and don't inform them of your intentions. This will only drag out the matter longer. I would not dump a load of debris at the job site as well. This may make your point but is childish IMO. Any paper work supporting your claim against said customer will be most helpful. In the future always have a signed work order or contract, it looks so much better in court. Good hunting. easy-lift guy
  12. The more things change the more they stay the same. easy-lift guy
  13. jed001, Hope you recover your stolen items. Might I suggest looking at my thread means and methods of protecting your kit from theft. It may be of additional help in the future. easy-lift guy.
  14. The ELH can safely be used from level ground or a platform and from a bucket. I cannot recommend the use from a ladder. Simonsr has used from a Mobil platform and has liked the results, Jammy dodger as well from level ground surface with his pole pruner/hedger attachment. I guess the boom of the ELH could get caught on the rungs going up, always better safe than sorry, I say. All the best easy-lift guy.
  15. IMO, One day there will be a reckoning for the in human treatment man has passed on to his fellow man. It may not be in our life times or our kids life times but there will be a special place in Hell for all of these miserable, horrible people ready and willing to take advantage of any situation for their own self's. I hope that the people of the UK really take to heart how horrible this story is and how it affects everyone. I am sicken by this story and only hope the justice systems puts all guilty party's far far away from everyone else for the rest of their natural lives. The guilty persons deserve no less and a great deal more! easy-lift guy
  16. Folk's you need to stop this nonsense in it's tracks now it will destroy your industry and still leave you paying more in taxes since the element of competition will be History!. Don't fall asleep behind the wheel on this one. easy-lift guy
  17. Interesting, let me see if I got this right. Your local council which is tax payer funded is actively competing with the private sector for work, while at the same time being funded by the same tax payers to perform all other usual type work council's are required to do in the first place?. Seems to me that the public sector is trying to close the gap on the private sector?. Sounds like a conflict of interest to me. I wonder how long this scam will continue before the tax payers call for referendum and stop this in it's tracks. My opinion from the other side of the pond. easy-lift guy
  18. Looks like it to me and there was a mess of them as well. Will be glad when they are gone via genetics. easy-lift guy
  19. My Flag is flying at half staff and I have said my Rosary for the families and victims of 9-11-2001. Interesting bit of history about William Wallace as well. Thanks. easy-lift guy.
  20. Porky, the model 717-A is the same height just with Two gas struts in stead of One for greater lifting capacity. easy-lift guy
  21. I would think depending on the concentration and amount of material I would not try to recycle any of the material removed for any purpose. Paraquat is a pretty nasty material and Rob is correct about the material taking a different form once taken up by the root system. Better safe than sorry take any and all precautions as needed. Stay safe and report back. easy-lift guy.
  22. tractorboy1, yes it can be used with a single sided brand hedger. Either model 717 or 717A comes standard with a a Heavy duty 1"x 6" Velcro strap or a 1.5" x 6" Velcro strap. I would suggest the model 717A since it is convertible. If the end user will only ever use the ELH for use with say a strimmer or a stick edger or a extended power hedger or single sided hedger model 717 would be fine. If on the once in a while I want to use that heavy power pole saw model 717A is the ticket and for lighter weight equipment previously mentioned simple remove a gas piston from the ELH and you have model 717. Hope this information will be helpful. All the best. easy-lift guy
  23. I concur Rob D In the right hands the pay back from the initial investment can be days instead of months, of course here in Florida we have a year round growing season as well. easy-lift guy
  24. aob9, I am in complete control of any implement that I have attached to the ELH. The product is designed to lift up to 100% of the implements weight. I suspect that your lower back pain is due to the implement controlling your range of motion since you have always been at the mercy of the implement. When using the ELH you are in control for the first time and the implement will work in favor of the operator as opposed to working against. Working smarter not harder is more than a slogan, It's a way of life. Best regards. easy-lift guy.
  25. Robert, I really like that model and it is available as a option along with a good back scrubber and soap on a rope. Nice picture. easy-lift guy
