Here in the states I believe it is called profiling and at least here in the Sunshine state of Florida if the police have "probable cause" they can ask permission first to search and if anything is in plain sight proceed further and search more, than the dog's are called out and than back up arrives and before you know it your either sent on your way or your stuff is impounded along with yourself. It is not a script from Cops it has happened to me once and Barney Fife and his crew tried and failed to pin anything on me. Just read the news story and watched aerial video of Police in action. Although I believe we have the same issues with squaters and malcontents here in the states I agree with difflock. When any group or association of persons take advantage of the system to the point of armed conflict this group should be rounded up and punished for said actions against society as a whole. It appears that this problem will only get worse since the offenders continue to want full protection from law enforcement while at the same time continue to thumb their noses at the same law they seek protection from. These folks I guess will not conform to the laws of the land and it is a pity that with all the effort spent avoiding and skirting the law how much better things could be if they would just grow up and end the game. Mike, There is a big difference between a High population and a bigger market. I believe I said bigger market and sales can be had on most everything here in the states at the end of the year to make room for new models and clear out old stock. Someone actually posted a price of $700.00 for a easy-lift harness about a week ago and even after the difference in the currency the price was no where near that amount, esp. since this person could have bough direct since he was not from the UK. The dip-stick you mentioned earlier called Buffet owes in back taxes many Millions of $$$$ to the federal treasury, however as long as he supports the present renters of 1600 PA. Ave. no one will push him to pay what he owes much less Claim to be willing to pay more. You see the funny thing is that when interviewed by the media if these higher income earners pay more in taxes every year, which they can by law if they choose to, every one will say no I do not pay more they just want everyone else to. State sales tax covers State funding requirements and many states have balanced budget amendments within their state constitution. easy-lift guy

Skyhuck, I think you are incorrect regarding the decision of the USA and our National debt. With the present regime in power spending on jobs programs and the criminal waste of tax payer funds, I hope will be coming to an end with in the next 13 months. The National debt is a very real problem in this country and is never going to be slowed or even stopped unless the powers to be pass a balanced budget amendment to our constitution and learn to live within that budget. To many for to long have lived and expected the state to provide from cradle to grave everything and when that was not enough ask for more. That mind set is slowly changing and people in this country at least are starting to understand that the party is over. IMO you get your deficit down by having a budget established in the first place and not exceed that budget. Simple enough just have to make everyone else understand the alternative is countries in Europe that are really on the verge of total default. At least the UK decided not to get on the Euro band wagon, I bet Germany/France wish they had never heard of it right about now. easy-lift guy

Firewood customers are like trees some require more training than others. You could go back and offer the check back and collect the wood, perhaps the customer may feel guilty enough to reconsider his opinion than again maybe not. You could also just leave the lying dog lie and move on to your next customer. The bottom line is no one can or ever will offer 100% satisfaction and get it every time, God knows most that have replied to this thread have tried.
